SAVHE HOTEL SHANGHAI WORLD EXPO

Positives- I really enjoyed the aesthetic of this hotel. The tea offered when checking in was nice. The hotel room has some really lovely touches- like the incense burner and music player. The free porridge and noodles were also much appreciated as well as the tea offered in the room. Things to improve- the service. Some staff were smiley and friendly even with a language barrier. Whereas some staff members, especially at the restaurant appeared to get a bit impatient and maybe even annoyed as I didn’t speak Mandarin and they didn’t speak English. This was my sixth hotel stay in China and the most expensive one. Sadly also the only one where I felt like I was an inconvenience. I also think that the information about the sound bath/music relaxation therapy needs to be clear on the trip website. It’s only offered on Weds and Mons so I was not able to make use of it.

Very beautiful and relaxing hotel with caring and courteous staff. We felt very well taken care of! There’s also a nice supper offered in the really pretty restaurant as well. The rooms are very comfortable and clean too! 100% would recommend staying here. The location is a little out of the way of the usual but its generally easy to get around the city’

Had a wonderful stay here. The interior design is modern and cozy, the staff are genuinely helpful, and overall the atmosphere feels very welcoming. Really loved it — would happily stay again.

The Hotel was beautiful and very quit and close to the exhibition. The staff was very helpful.
