Highly recommended! The owner is incredibly kind and enthusiastic. They arranged airport pickup, and even though we arrived at the hotel in the early hours, the owner personally helped carry our luggage to the room. The service is excellent; if you need anything, the owner will help you out, and even offered to drive us down when we were heading out. The room is spacious and clean. My favorite part is the large balcony outside, with beautiful flowers and plants perfect for photos. It's super comfortable to sit out there in the morning and evening, enjoying the breeze. There's also daily breakfast, fruit, and afternoon tea, all personally served by the owner. This level of service definitely warrants a great review. If I ever come back to Lijiang, I'll only stay here!

Setting up my home at the foot of the snowy mountains, living amidst the scenery – this hotel fulfilled all my fantasies for a snow mountain getaway. Opening the window, I was greeted by majestic snow-capped peaks, wreathed in clouds, like a fairyland. In the morning, I witnessed the golden glow of the sunrise on the mountains; in the evening, I quietly admired the sunset painting the snow. At night, I gazed up at the brilliant starry sky – every moment was so beautiful it left me speechless. The room had a wonderful texture, with warm-toned design elements incorporating Naxi style, making it both cozy and luxurious. The private hot spring tub melted away all my fatigue. The staff were gentle and enthusiastic, with meticulous service. Every day here felt slow and peaceful, accompanied by the snow mountains, healing and wonderful. It's definitely worth countless return visits!

The service was very attentive; someone helped with our luggage every time we came and went. There were many value-added services available, such as afternoon tea, crafts, and photo shoots, which made for an overall great experience. The small courtyard was a hidden gem, offering a tranquil escape within the bustling old town. Personally, I found the environment inside the guesthouse even better than the old town itself. I must mention the breakfast separately – it was incredibly rich and delicious. The breakfast area was right by the scenic pool, perfect for taking beautiful photos. However, for those looking to swim, it's not possible.

What an amazing getaway! If you are more into nature and culture....THIS IS YOUR SPOT! It is tucked away inside Shuhe Old Town but you would never know. Once you get there, it is quiet. They are very proud to show you their gardens, their squirrels (they are well provided for), their cats, and what they truly enjoy. We were welcomed with drinks, fruit, and delicious buckwheat bread while we were introduced to the dining area and the movie and games area. Their menu is wonderful. Breakfast is provided and has a set menu of Asian versus Western (i had French toast one morning and pancakes the next) and then an extra section where you can also have yogurt with toppings, fruits, breads, coffee, etc. Other meals are ordered from the menu. The variety is wonderful and the taste and quality are worth it. After traveling throughout China for a few weeks, I really just wanted a burger. The Yak burger was amazing! WARNING: once you pick it up for the first bite, you must commit to it. There is no putting it down. My hands were just a joyous mix of meat juice, cheese dripping, pickle juice, egg dripping....luckily there is a restroom right there to wash up after. Our room was very cute, small, odd, but it worked for us and you could tell it would be cozy come the snow seasons-which we will return for. The odd part was the steps that lead down into the bathroom. I thought, oooo how fun! Not so much in the middle of the night if you are not used to it. But not all rooms have that so don't let that discourage you from enjoying this place. If you are finished walking Shuhe Old Town, there are more options. We decided to walk around the back of the garden. Following the trail, we wound up in a very beautiful park with water and bridges and places to sit. Eventually, we came out at one of the ends of Shuhe. Again, you would never have known because there was no interrupting noises to tell you otherwise. One of the days we took Didi to Baisha Old Town. Another must go! We spent a full day there and still did not finish. Even the rain didn't stop everyone from enjoying everything. Make sure you find the silk art school. It is tucked away but they have a wonderful program. I could do an entire blog on their contributions and empowerment for women but for now, just go enjoy and buy something, support them. Overall, we loved this place and will go back. We were not able to enjoy the mountain this time.

The rooms and public areas of this B&B are spotless, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They proactively assist guests with various issues, like guiding them through ticket bookings and helping with parking directions. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance. In stark contrast, the public lobby at the nearby Mushanxue B&B was dirty and messy. The staff there were even playing games while talking to guests, a huge difference in service quality. Just putting this out there for other travelers to avoid a bad experience.

Its design seamlessly blends Naxi culture with modern minimalism, creating an understated yet exquisite ambiance. The service is warm, meticulous, and incredibly responsive. They offer a rich variety of complimentary activities, including guided hikes, botanical explorations, Naxi home visits, fireside chats, and bonfires. You can even capture stunning stargazing photos and witness the golden glow of the sun on the snow-capped mountains. The snow mountain views are breathtaking right from your window, with the lawn seemingly merging into the mountain scenery, and the night sky ablaze with stars. In short, this is a treasure of a hotel with impeccable aesthetics, highly recommended.

This hotel, nestled at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the Old Town. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are comfortable, equipped with oxygen supply and underfloor heating, which is a great touch for a high-altitude location. Owen and Liora provided attentive online service throughout our stay, responding promptly to all our needs. The hotel also offers cultural experiences, like Dongba culture, where you can quietly enjoy the changing clouds and the unique tranquility of the snow mountain. There's even an observatory for stargazing, and we had the chance to marvel at the Milky Way with an instructor at night. The yak hotpot was authentically delicious. Far from the noise of the Old Town, this quiet and healing retreat at the foot of the snow mountain is definitely a place worth visiting at least once in a lifetime.

The hotel is right near the main archway of Shuhe Ancient Town, just a short walk away. The entire hotel is located within a villa complex, which houses a total of three hotels. Each hotel has its own shuttle service. If you're assigned a room that's a bit further away, you'll need to use the shuttle. You have to contact the hotel staff every time, and while they are generally very quick to respond, it's still not as convenient as hotels located directly on the street. The room interiors are quite new, and the amenities don't have any musty smells, which is a big plus. In my room, the toilet and shower were separate, which I also appreciated. The hotel breakfast was quite rich, with freshly made rice noodles and poached eggs, highly recommended. The hotel staff provided excellent service; they were quick to fulfill any requests. Furthermore, I think staying in Shuhe Ancient Town is better than Lijiang Ancient City. Many guesthouses and hotels here are newer, and you don't have to walk on cobblestone paths, which is especially great for travelers with luggage. In Lijiang Ancient City, if visitors aren't familiar with the area, they might have to constantly check maps to see if a hotel's location is suitable. For those who want to visit Lijiang Ancient City for sightseeing, you can navigate directly to the back entrance at the top of the mountain, which makes it more convenient to walk downhill from there.

Our stay at Jeoloufu Garden Hotel was absolutely perfect, and I have to give a special shout-out to Liu Fei! From the moment we arrived, Liu Fei was incredibly warm and attentive, proactively helping us with our luggage and providing thoughtful service throughout. When we wanted to have afternoon tea delivered to our room, he was the first to jump in and coordinate it for us, with amazing efficiency. During our stay, we noticed a flickering light in our room; after informing Liu Fei, he immediately arranged for maintenance to come and fix it, and the issue was resolved very quickly. What truly touched me was that even after his shift ended, he still promptly replied to my messages and patiently helped resolve all my questions. His meticulous and heartwarming service made our entire trip exceptionally comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time! Five out of five stars!

Great hotel! The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions – nothing is too far away. Plus, there's a fantastic food and snack street right downstairs. The cleanliness and facilities are also very good. Highly recommend, I'll definitely be back!
