This hotel made up 90% of my wonderful Lijiang trip – it was incredibly comfortable and the service was so thoughtful. The excellent service started right from booking; the owner added me on WeChat to ask about my arrival time and if I needed a pick-up, always replying instantly. They even helped with my luggage! The hotel is halfway up the mountain, offering stunning views of Lijiang Old Town. Whenever I wanted to go out, they'd drive me to the old town entrance, making it super convenient – a quiet escape yet close to everything. Plus, food delivery comes right to your room. The daily afternoon tea, coffee, and regular tea were all delicious, and the mini cakes and cookies were also high quality. There are 3 cats to pet, and a huge, super clear projector that was so comfy it made me not want to leave the room, haha.
⭐️ **Amenities:** It has an elevator! Floor-to-ceiling windows, a spacious and bright room, with sunlight streaming in – super comfortable! There's underfloor heating, powerful air conditioning, and a humidifier. The furniture is solid and high-quality, and the bed is just the right softness with comfortable linens.
⭐️ **Hygiene:** Daily cleaning, disposable slippers in sterilized packaging, soft and clean towels, separate toilet and shower areas, and a bathtub – extremely clean!
⭐️ **Service:** Absolutely amazing, they catered to every request! They provided sightseeing tips and routes with location pins, no pushy sales, and were as warm and attentive as a good friend! Unlimited complimentary bottled water, they'd offer water and an umbrella when I left, and fresh flower cakes when I returned – they looked after me so well!
We will definitely be back.

Guest UserSetting up my home at the foot of the snowy mountains, living amidst the scenery – this hotel fulfilled all my fantasies for a snow mountain getaway. Opening the window, I was greeted by majestic snow-capped peaks, wreathed in clouds, like a fairyland. In the morning, I witnessed the golden glow of the sunrise on the mountains; in the evening, I quietly admired the sunset painting the snow. At night, I gazed up at the brilliant starry sky – every moment was so beautiful it left me speechless. The room had a wonderful texture, with warm-toned design elements incorporating Naxi style, making it both cozy and luxurious. The private hot spring tub melted away all my fatigue. The staff were gentle and enthusiastic, with meticulous service. Every day here felt slow and peaceful, accompanied by the snow mountains, healing and wonderful. It's definitely worth countless return visits!

Staying at 'Mo Shan Li Yu' for two nights or more gets you a free one-way transfer. The owner is really nice; not only did they arrange a driver to pick us up when we arrived, but they also dropped us off at the taxi stand when we left. The breakfast was delicious, and so was the afternoon tea. The location is super convenient – it's right in the old town, but it's not noisy at all!

Guest UserThe hotel is located in Lijiang Old Town, making it an excellent choice for anyone who wants to explore the area on foot.
One of our rooms was upgraded, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay in Lijiang. The hotel also offers many complimentary activities for guests to enjoy.
The property features a beautiful garden with several alpacas and peacocks roaming around, allowing guests to interact and play with them. The rooftop view is another major highlight, as on a clear day you may be lucky enough to enjoy a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains.

JiezizhishiThe hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Lijiang Old Town and Black Dragon Pool Park. We stayed in both guesthouses and hotels during this trip, but a five-star hotel suited us better – it has more comprehensive facilities and feels more secure. The staff were very friendly. There's also a rooftop terrace on the top floor where you can take 'sky mirror' photos, which was a nice touch! We received complimentary afternoon tea upon check-in and a souvenir upon check-out, showing great sincerity.

Guest UserThe hotel's ancient courtyard environment is elegant and tranquil, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, allowing you to enjoy a rare sense of leisure right on the edge of the old town.
I especially want to commend the dining and spa! The food quality is consistently excellent; the lobby bar, breakfast, and Chinese restaurant offer a rich and exquisite selection of dishes. Both Chinese and Western flavors are authentic and delicious, and the breakfast spread is diverse and fresh. The dining environment is comfortable and pleasant, making every meal highly satisfying. The spa is a major highlight of the hotel, with a great ambiance that truly helps you relax. The professional and soothing techniques wash away the fatigue of travel, making the SPA experience incredibly therapeutic.
The service throughout was attentive and thoughtful; the staff were warm, polite, and responsive, paying attention to every detail. The room was comfortable and clean, making for a very pleasant stay.
If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in Lijiang, the InterContinental Lijiang Ancient Town Resort is an excellent choice. The combination of delicious food and spa treatments is pure bliss. I genuinely recommend it, a full five-star rating! ✨

ZYC 11This stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The hotel lobby opens out to a huge lawn with direct views of the snow-capped mountains. The butler was incredibly welcoming and guided me every step of the way with a warm smile, even proactively recommending nearby hiking trails. The attention to detail was exceptional.
The room itself was an even bigger surprise. Opening the window revealed a stunning green vista. The bedding was incredibly soft, like sinking into clouds. The bathroom's wet and dry areas were immaculately clean, and the toiletries had a lovely woody scent that I really enjoyed. They even provided their own branded merchandise as amenities, and the cube-shaped sofa was a fantastic touch.
There was absolutely nothing to complain about throughout my entire stay. Both the facilities and the service details showed incredible thoughtfulness, and the breakfast spread was very generous.

This hotel is located in a resort called Shuhe Secret, which houses many hotels. If you're looking to explore Shuhe Ancient Town, this is a great choice as it's right across the street. The parking can be a bit confusing as there are two entrances, so remember to confirm the exact location with the front desk beforehand. Manager Liu Fei was very helpful, assisting us with opening the tea room and arranging for rice noodles or afternoon tea to be delivered to our room.
The hotel's breakfast was quite standard with limited options, so there's definitely room for improvement there.

Guest UserI stayed for three days in early August during the peak season, around the Torch Festival, and the overall service experience was quite mediocre. First, let me start with the positives: the room was very clean. Throughout my stay, I didn't see a single hair on the carpet or the bed each day.
Now for the negatives: 1. Breakfast was so crowded that there was no dining experience at all. On the first day, I was ”tricked” into going to the cafe for breakfast, under the pretext that the main restaurant was too full. I say ”tricked” because the server said the two places offered the same food, but I later discovered that the cafe's selection was only about one-tenth of what the main restaurant offered. This was totally unnecessary. Firstly, for most guests, the dining experience (fewer people) far outweighs a few extra dishes. Secondly, the servers could have easily informed guests in the cafe that they could get food from the main restaurant and then eat it in the cafe. This level of service is completely inconsistent with the hotel's positioning.
Secondly, the hygiene at breakfast was concerning. I understand it's peak season and crowded, but it's unacceptable when cutlery in the table caddies isn't replenished promptly. Moreover, I even found used cutlery from previous guests in the cutlery holder! (See picture). After informing a server, they very calmly took it away and then placed new cutlery directly into the caddy that still had food residue in it! They didn't even clean the caddy!
Overall, the quality of service from both the front desk and restaurant staff urgently needs improvement. When I had dinner at the Chinese restaurant, I was also constantly bothered by three flies, yet several servers stood by and watched without doing anything. (See picture).
While the view is nice, I would advise against dining in the restaurant, and the breakfast experience was also extremely poor.

yiweng170This is my second stay at the Wyndham Lijiang Railway Station, and here's why:
1. The location is absolutely superb! It's only about 300-400 meters from the train station, which means a quick and easy start to a relaxing stay upon arrival in Lijiang, and a smooth departure. No need to tire yourself out.
2. The service is fantastic! I added the butler on WeChat, and they were incredibly responsive, helping me with any issues immediately. They even upgraded me to a family room – a huge shout-out to the little butler!
3. They offer self-service laundry and dryers, which many five-star hotels don't provide for free; you usually have to pay. The Wyndham Lijiang Railway Station is a pioneer among five-star hotels in this regard. For long-term travelers like us, this is incredibly useful. I really hope all five-star hotels will offer self-service laundry in the future, giving guests the option of self-service or paid service.
4. No need for a taxi to eat, there are plenty of restaurants right across the street.
From now on, the Wyndham Lijiang Railway Station will be my top choice whenever I visit Lijiang.
