Lijiang Hotels with Breakfast

This was truly one of the best 民宿 experiences I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Two gentlemen welcomed us warmly with smiles and immediately helped us carry our luggage, which included two large suitcases and two small suitcases, all the way up to Level 3. We were also given a complimentary room upgrade because a larger room was available, which was such a thoughtful gesture. After checking in, they patiently guided us through the room facilities and made sure we knew how everything worked. On the first day of our stay, they also prepared a beautiful fruit platter and tea for us, which made us feel so welcomed and well taken care of. Their service hours are from 8am to midnight, but what impressed us most was how much they went beyond that. Whenever available, they also had a driver who could send us to the nearby Lijiang Old Town, making our trip even more convenient and worry-free. The level of care and help they provided is honestly beyond words. They made our entire stay comfortable, smooth, and stress-free. Together with the beautiful scenic views, their outstanding service made us fall in love with Lijiang even more and truly made us want to visit again. On our last day, we had to check out at 7am, which was outside their usual working hours. Even so, the owner personally stayed at the counter and set his own alarm just to help us carry our luggage down. He did not have to do this, but he still went out of his way to assist us. He also helped arrange transport to take us to Lijiang Train Station, which made our departure so easy and comfortable. The service at this hotel is genuinely excellent. I almost have no words to describe how grateful we are for such a wonderful stay. This is the first time I am putting so much effort into writing such a long review for a hotel, and that says a lot about how amazing the experience was. If you are visiting Lijiang, I highly, highly recommend this 民宿. The service, hospitality, comfort, and overall experience are truly top-notch. You have to experience it for yourself. ————————————————— 这是我住过体验最好的民宿之一，服务真的可以说是五星级，甚至远远超出了我们的期待。 从我们抵达的那一刻开始，就感受到他们满满的诚意。两位先生非常热情地微笑迎接我们，并主动帮我们把行李搬到三楼。我们一共有两个大行李箱和两个小行李箱，他们都非常细心地帮忙处理。因为当时刚好有更大的空房，他们还免费帮我们升级了房型，这一点真的让我们感到非常惊喜和感动。 办理入住后，他们也很耐心地带我们了解房间的设施，教我们如何使用房内的设备。入住的第一天，他们还贴心地准备了水果拼盘和茶，让我们一到达就有一种被好好招待、被照顾的感觉。 他们的营业时间是早上8点到晚上12点，但让我最感动的是，他们的服务完全不只是停留在营业时间内。如果司机有空，他们还会安排车辆送我们到附近的丽江古城，让我们的行程变得更加方便，也更加安心。 他们在整个住宿期间给予我们的帮助，真的很难用三言两语形容。无论是服务、态度，还是细节上的照顾，都让我们住得非常舒服、轻松、没有任何负担。再加上这里漂亮的风景和安静舒适的环境，真的让我们更加喜欢丽江，也让我们有了想再回来丽江的理由。 最后一天我们需要早上7点退房，而这个时间其实是在他们的正常营业时间之外。即使如此，老板还是特地留在自己的房间兼柜台，并且设了闹钟起床，只为了帮我们把行李搬下来。其实他完全可以不用这么做，但他还是非常主动、非常贴心地帮助我们。除此之外，他还帮我们安排了前往丽江火车站的交通，让我们整个退房和离开的过程都非常顺利。 这间民宿的服务真的非常优秀，优秀到我一时之间都不知道该用什么词来形容。说实话，这是我第一次这么认真、花这么多心思为一家住宿写这么长的评价，因为这一次的住宿体验真的值得被推荐。 如果你有机会来到丽江，我真的非常非常推荐这间民宿。无论是服务、环境、舒适度，还是整体住宿体验，都非常出色。这里不是只让你住一晚的地方，而是会让你记住丽江、想再次回来的地方。 真的很推荐，大家一定要亲自来体验。

The room was very clean, and the host was super friendly and helpful with luggage. There's also a Samoyed named Mitsu who is incredibly friendly; my kids absolutely adored her and couldn't bear to leave. The dog was very clean and well-behaved. Overall, the guesthouse was very quiet.

I used to stay in hotels, but this time, wanting to better experience the local culture in Lijiang Old Town, I chose a guesthouse. From the moment we checked in, the owner, like a friend, brewed us tea and offered us flower cakes and dried beef. As soon as we entered our room, the daily afternoon tea set arrived: tiramisu tarts made with real cream, fresh and crisp strawberries and blueberries, and freshly cut cantaloupe and watermelon. I'm very sensitive to smells, and the room's air freshener and toiletries had a scent similar to Le Labo, which was lovely. The room offered great views of the snow-capped mountains. The guesthouse's location on the main street was perfect – lively but quiet. Even as a light sleeper, I was never disturbed by the street noise. Whenever I stayed elsewhere in Yunnan, I unconsciously compared it to this place. This guesthouse is truly my 'white moonlight' in Yunnan, and I'll never consider another option when I come to Lijiang again. Many thanks to the manager for the pick-up, help with luggage, and recommendations for various local specialty restaurants, and to the owner for her warm hospitality and sophisticated taste. The guesthouse serves breakfast; the auntie's rice noodles were generously topped, and the owner's cat, Aobai, is both cute and sassy :)

Outstanding team at 一见云宽! Special thanks to 阿龙 for patiently introducing the Lijiang old town to us while walking us to the accommodations. He arranged for a 师傅to help us with the bags to and fro 一见云宽due to the cobblestone pathways in the old town. Initially, before our trip, I checked with him regarding the type of room we will get as there’s different layout for the room we booked (we didn’t want a room that’s facing another room) and 阿龙patiently sent us the photos of all the rooms and let us choose the one we wanted. During our stay, he and his team has been very welcoming, warm, helpful and patient with us - helping us handle our parcels, arrange for afternoon tea for us and also prepared a light breakfast including lemon cake, flower biscuit, chocolate and milk for us when we check out at 6am to go to jade dragon mountain - a gesture that we felt very touched as they even thought of the fact that we might need chocolate in case of high altitude sickness at the mountain. The 师傅who helped us with the bags even woke up early to meet us at 6am to help us carry our bags to the main road (10-15minutes walk away) and waited with us for our cab. I felt like I was taken care of like family. It was a wonderful stay for us. Many thanks to 阿龙,师傅and the rest of the team at 一见云宽for taking care of us! i

My friend and I stumbled upon this hotel online, and after booking, it truly exceeded my expectations! It's right inside Lijiang Ancient Town! As soon as you step out, you're on cobblestone streets. You can walk to Sifang Street in just 5 minutes. After exploring the night market, you can just stroll back to the hotel – no need for a taxi at all, which makes you feel super safe 💯. 🏠 The facilities are unbelievably complete: * Smart toilet – Heated seat + automatic flush. No more freezing cold toilet seats in winter! * Central air conditioning + humidifier – The humidity here is just perfect. * Full set of toiletries – Not those cheap sample sizes! These are proper branded products, and they smell amazing. * 24-hour hot water + thermostatic shower – The water pressure is fantastic; showering here is pure bliss 🚿. * They called us the day before check-in to confirm our itinerary and even sent us a guide for exploring the ancient town 📋. * The front desk lady was incredibly sweet and upgraded us to a room with a view. * There's free afternoon tea every day, with flower cakes and Pu'er tea. Sitting in the courtyard soaking up the sun was so chill 🌸. * When checking out, they even gave us parting gifts (tie-dye and Pu'er tea cakes), which was a lovely touch. They also offer a free photography service, including makeup and styling, saving us the trouble of finding a photo studio ourselves!

This guesthouse is perfectly situated in the heart of the ancient town, just a few minutes' walk from the Grand Water Wheel and Sifang Street. Step outside and you're in the bustling market, but inside, it's a tranquil oasis – truly the best of both worlds. The Song-style courtyard, with its white walls, dark tiles, and wooden corridors, is picturesque and elegant, offering photo opportunities at every turn. The rooftop viewing terrace is the absolute highlight. From there, you can take in panoramic views of the ancient town's charming rooftops and even catch a glimpse of the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance. The sunrise and nighttime views create an incredible atmosphere. I even got lucky enough to see a rainbow during my stay, which was a real treat! The guest rooms are spotless and comfortable, with soft bedding that even includes lavender sachets. Modern amenities like a smart toilet and Dyson hairdryer are provided, showing great attention to detail and ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The facilities were a wonderful surprise – they have everything: a sauna, KTV, billiards, card games, a coffee shop, and even a gym. The housekeeper was incredibly thoughtful and enthusiastic, handling luggage transfers and answering all my questions about local attractions with great care. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Lijiang!

Upon checking in, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. This kind gesture right at the beginning set a wonderfully comfortable tone for our entire stay. What surprised us even more was the meticulous consideration shown by our butler, Elin. Without us ever mentioning it, you noticed our preference for pillow comfort and proactively made adjustments and provided care. This level of personalized attention, embedded in the smallest details, is far more touching than standardized service. I particularly want to extend my sincerest gratitude to the entire concierge team. During a heavy rain shower, you had already arranged a parking area for us in advance when we returned. You even drove a shuttle bus to the entrance to pick us up and take us back to our room. Despite the intense rain, your staff consistently braved the weather to assist us, even thoughtfully retrieving seat cushions from our car while getting soaked themselves. This dedication, coupled with such warm human touch, will always remain in our hearts. What moved us the most was the birthday surprise for my mother. We never proactively mentioned her birthday, yet the hotel meticulously noted it and discreetly arranged birthday decorations and a cake in our room. This unexpected romance and thoughtfulness not only brought immense joy to my mother but also made our family feel at home in a foreign land, becoming the most cherished memory of our Lijiang trip. From check-in to check-out, from the seamless coordination by Guest Relations to the detailed care from the housekeeping department, and the steadfast dedication of the concierge team in all weather conditions, every staff member in every role demonstrated the essence of Banyan Tree's service with their professionalism and genuine care. The snow-capped mountains and courtyards of Lijiang are beautiful, but even more captivating than the scenery is your unparalleled and meticulous service. Once again, I sincerely thank every staff member who assisted us and wholeheartedly commend the service quality of Banyan Tree Lijiang. The staff was very nice and even picked us up from the street (the taxi cannot enter the old town, you have to walk for a bit, which is totally fine).The staff even helped us carry our luggage (see the picture). They then greeted us with a selection of local tea and were very friendly. They also advised us on how to prepare for the Yulong Xueshan day trip, when to leave, etc. The room is very cute and their terrace has an amazing view. I would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel! The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions – nothing is too far away. Plus, there's a fantastic food and snack street right downstairs. The cleanliness and facilities are also very good. Highly recommend, I'll definitely be back!

This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! Situated right near Baisha Ancient Town and at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, it boasts a prime, front-row view of the mountain. With unspoiled agricultural land in front, the panoramic views are completely unobstructed. You can soak in the majestic snow-capped peaks right from your room, and even witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' spectacle from your bed. The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey. The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home. The guest rooms were spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped with everything you could need, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The combination of the unparalleled scenic views and outstanding soft and hard services far exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or an immersive Lijiang experience, I highly recommend it. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation on my next visit to Lijiang!
