Great
Wworld traveler_94Service: The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Environment: The location is great, very convenient and close to the city center. Cleanliness: It seemed like only the sheets were changed on the bed; I found some trash left by the previous guest, which was quite awkward. However, the staff did a good job keeping the common areas clean. Facilities: There were no curtains on the beds, which meant no privacy, but everything else was satisfactory. The lack of curtains is a pretty significant issue. While the price was very affordable, I wouldn't recommend this mixed-gender dorm for women; even as a man, I found it a bit uncomfortable.

GGuest UserExtremely noisy, the soundproofing is terrible. If you're not a very heavy sleeper, be warned. I'm usually someone who wouldn't wake up even during a thunderstorm, but I stayed here for two nights and woke up once or twice each night. There were always people talking loudly in the hallway, and because the soundproofing was so bad, it felt like they were talking right next to my ear even with earplugs on.

GGuest UserThe room is small, but it is described in the room description, so it is in line with expectations. The room is clean and sanitary, the decoration is small and exquisite, it is a budget hotel with reasonable price, as the name says, it is a good choice for those who consider the budget. For a budget hotel, the breakfast is not good, but it is a pity that there are no vegetables.

SSwaterfieldI was in a shared female dorm. Nice bed and location. A towel was provided but be prepared for a cold water shower. No real kitchen to speak of. Just a small iced over fridge and microwave. It’s in a nice location and easy to walk to all the hot spots.

AAnonymous UserGreat if you're staying for just a few days. I chose this single room because I was arriving late by plane, and it allows for check-in at any hour, but the conditions they set and the potential charges for every single thing are absurd. They provide an endless list of extra fees in case anything happens.

GGuest UserThis was a converted apartment, with private bedrooms and shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. The place was impressively clean throughout our stay, with cleaners coming through each morning. You are also provided a key to lock the bedroom door so we didn't have any concerns about security. Wifi also worked fine and there was mobile reception (this must've been fixed from older reviews). Having access to a kitchen made it easy to have breakfast in and you are allocated a shelf in the communal fridge. The other guests were very respectful, which helped create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. That said, it’s worth noting this is not a party-style stay — it works best if everyone is mindful that it’s a shared environment as noise does travel through the hallway. The bedroom itself was large and spacious, with plenty of wardrobe space. Location-wise, it’s slightly outside the very centre — not right in the middle of the action — but still very accessible. We were about a 20-minute walk to Plaza Mayor and ended up walking most places, and there’s also a metro station less than 5 minutes away if needed. Overall, a great option if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-connected place to stay in Madrid, especially if you don’t mind being just outside the busiest areas.

AAnonymous UserThe accommodation was clean. They don’t have a lift, but it’s alright to walk a few stairs. Shared bathroom and toilet. Water for showering was hot enough. There is a fan in the room. The location was close to a 24 hour supermarket. The downside is that there was not water boiler for people who need hot water:( but overall it’s good

AAndrya PerezThe room was impecable. Though I would like to have a little rack on the shower to place my shampoo and conditioner bottles. The bed was comfortable but I wish they had individual pillows instead of just one long noodle-like pillow. The window blinds were extremely hard to scroll up. Regarding the automatic check-in, I had to call the hostel number for them to give me the reservation number which I did not know. It took me a while to complete the check-in. They should also let the visitors know that they have to walk upstairs so light luggage is recommended here.

TTKM3The place looked clean at first glance, but the shower curtain had severe mold. Two out of four toilets were out of order due to a broken stall. The beds swayed a lot even with the slightest movement, and even when still, they felt wobbly and unstable. It was quite scary, I was worried they might collapse. Considering it's not a budget hotel, I think more maintenance is needed. The location, however, was convenient. Personally, I found it very annoying when some rude guests were loudly talking on the phone late at night and their phone kept beeping with incoming messages.
