Great
EEdmund LuoFriendly stuff, great location, washing machines and tumble dryers are free to use. The coffee machine in the stylish lounge is free to use too. The only thing was not so enjoyful is that one of the drainage got blocked in the shower room at one night and there were no staff help me to fix it and I had to finish the shower with my feet covered in about a-inch deep dirty water, maybe the hostel can leave some tools in the shower so the guests can fix the drainage by themselves when it's needed.

Llittle birddddI chose this place for the BP concert I attended alone. I was initially worried about the cleanliness and safety of a capsule hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised after checking in. First, when I was checking myself in, it was before 3 PM, and a staff member saw me waiting at the entrance and kindly helped me check in early. They also patiently showed me around the different areas of the hotel. Firstly, you need a card to enter the main door, and also to enter the common rooms, which felt very safe and reassuring. Secondly, you have to take off your shoes before entering the rooms, and there are dedicated shoe cabinets by the entrance. The common areas were super clean, and staff members were constantly cleaning in the afternoon. What surprised me the most was the hotel's bathroom – it was incredibly clean, with no unpleasant odors at all. The hotel also has a small makeup area, which was a thoughtful touch. The entire hotel was scent-free, and everyone was very considerate; even when coming back late at night, people were quiet while eating in the common areas. The bedding was also very clean and hygienic, and the space was more than enough for sleeping, not at all cramped. Plus, the hotel's location is excellent, right in Chinatown, with many souvenir shops and Michelin-starred Hainanese chicken rice nearby. It's a shame I only stayed for a short time this trip; I'll definitely choose this place again if I get the chance.

NNovsuhIt was a pleasant stay, for female advisable to book female only room. Better to book lower bunk for people who is afraid of height and not in healthy condition. The upper bunk is higher than normal make it difficult to mobilize. Toilet has lots of room no need waiting. The soap compartment. It rusty, please help to change. Soap are nice unlike other hostel which felt like cheap soap. There’s water dispenser hot and cold very helpful. Im not sure if this has microwave and refridgerator for communal use or not though, it will be best if it has.

AAnonymous UserReally basic, no frills hotel. Do note that some rooms do not have television. Cleaning isnt thorough, evident from the dust and even a pair of dirty socks left under the bed. Plus points are that it was recently renovated and there was a nice welcome snack pack.

AAnonymous UserSingapore is incredibly pricey, especially during the summer holidays, so finding affordable accommodation isn't easy. This place, however, offered great value for money. Our stay was pleasant; the bed was comfortable, and we slept really well. Plus, it was very convenient for getting around.

AAnonymous UserStaying in Singapore has certainly been an experience, and overall, it was quite… unique 😅 First, the pros: 1. **Convenient Location**: It's about 900 meters from Harbourfront Vivocity, roughly a 10-minute walk. 2. **Affordable Price**: At 625 RMB per night (weekend rate, slightly higher than weekdays) including tax, this is considered quite cheap in Singapore, where prices are sky-high 😅. 3. **Cleanliness**: The room was very clean and well-maintained, as expected from a chain brand. Now for the cons: First, the room is tiny, definitely less than 13 square meters. The actual usable space, including the bathroom, is only about six or seven square meters. Second, I honestly didn't understand what ”1 double bed measuring 1.31 meters” meant at first. After checking in, I realized that 1.31 meters was the total width of *two* beds! Divided by two, each bed was only 0.65 meters wide 😅. Honestly, this is the narrowest bed I've ever slept in 😅. I didn't think much of it and just lay down, but in the middle of the night, I almost fell off the bed when I turned over. I had to get up and push the two beds together to be able to continue sleeping, albeit uncomfortably, due to the large, sunken gap in the middle. Also, I don't know who keeps them, but there are several chickens in the green belt outside, and they started crowing incessantly before 7 AM. It feels a bit out of place for a business hotel to have chickens outside, not quite fitting with Singapore's sophisticated, elite image, haha 😅. Another experience related to ”cultural differences”: The hotel doesn't provide bottled water. There's a ”drinking water” sign on the bathroom faucet, but I didn't dare drink it, haha 😅. Luckily, I brought two bottles of water myself (500ml + 600ml), which I managed to make do with for a day and a half. Plus, there was a 600ml bottle of mineral water on the Aeroline bus on the way back the next evening. This saved me money on buying water in Singapore (not including a coconut shake and a durian cendol I bought the next day). Singapore is really hot and humid. The sun is scorching during the day, and walking outside feels like being roasted alive 😅. Restaurants and food courts don't provide free hot or cold water. Water might indeed be a scarce resource here, which I can rationally understand 😅.

TTanjib Ahsan SaadHotel 81 Geylang offers a moderate overall experience. The service, cleanliness, amenities, and location are all acceptable, but nothing particularly outstanding. It’s a straightforward, budget-friendly option for short stays, especially if you just need the basics without extra frills.

MMarotI booked a room through Trip.com, but unfortunately, the room I received was very different from what was shown in the advertisement. The actual room had a strong bad smell, like cigarettes, and was not clean. It was very disappointing and not what I expected based on the pictures. However, after I complained, both Trip.com and the hotel were helpful. They arranged for me to move to a better room, which was much more acceptable. I appreciate the quick response, but I hope the listings in the future can be more accurate to avoid this kind of situation.
