I stayed in Box Hill motel between 3rd of Nov'23 - 5th of Nov'23. My husband and I arrived at Box Hill motel around 12-1pm. We were so exhausted as we took turn driving from Sydney - Melbourne. We drove from Sydney past midnight. Upon calling if we would be let in early, surprisingly it is allowed. Otherwise we would have slept in the car until check-in time if the room isn't ready yet. We got room no.1 and it was very clean. I didn't use the towel as I prefer to use my own towel, my husband also use his own towel. One of the hanging towel though had a snot on it and I put that towel aside despite we didn't use it. There were 3x plates in total and one of the plate was dirty and I assumed previous guest must have used this 1 plate and didn't wash it but instead just slipped it in between the clean plate. We used 2x plates for ourselves but I washed the 3x plates myself. Great Wifi speed too as I was able to complete a little bit of work from Room no.1. My parents always taught me to appreciate and respect people's places. Upon checking out, I saw Carol and OMG, she is so kind, friendly, down to earth and helpful. She was busy rolling people's luggage to their room. I remember my father always taught me the great businessman is not the one who always wanted to be served but the one who knew how to serve others first. There's a saying about ”servant leadership”. A great leader know how it feels to be at the bottom to observe, learn and serving others as well as better appreciate the top and experience various roles to understand the duties and responsibilities of each roles. THANK YOU Box hill motel team and Carol too for allowing us to stay at your beautiful clean and tidy place. We were able to sleep very soundly, hope nobody can hear us snoring :) I highly recommend Box Hill motel, Melbourne to anyone on a trip to Melbourne.

Beautiful souls 🤍 I recently stayed at Quality Hotel Melbourne Airport and wanted to share my experience for anyone travelling in or out of Melbourne. We have stayed here a number of times, the first time was because we had flight delays and didn't want to head home to return the following day. It made sense and ever since then we have used it as our little night before we go on the next adventure stop over. So if you are like me, and you’re looking for something close, easy, and stress-free before a flight… this place really delivers. The location is incredibly convenient, just minutes from the airport, and the shuttle service makes everything feel seamless especially when you’re travelling early morning or arriving late. That alone takes so much pressure off. And if you are like me and need to have a change of suit case for clothing it makes a great base between flights and countries. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. Not overly luxurious, but they have everything you need for a short stay. It feels more like a practical stopover than a holiday destination and that’s exactly what it’s meant to be. What I appreciated most was the ease of everything… No overwhelm, no complications — just a place to land, reset, and move on with your journey. If I had to describe it energetically… it feels like a “pause point” between destinations. A couple of things to note: It’s more of a classic, older-style hotel, not modern luxury but its a great base and we leave our car there for convince. Dining options can be limited depending on timing, but we ate next door a Sheesh and plan to go there again. You may hear a little airport noise (as expected) But overall, for value, convenience, and simplicity, it does exactly what it promises. We will definitely stay again when I need a smooth airport stopover, like in September with a group of travelers heading on.a cruise. The place suits business, family, couples, solo and groups. Overall, it's excellent. The apartment is spacious, the environment is pleasant, and the location is convenient, close to the National Library and the city center, within the free tram zone. This is my second stay.

Location: easy 3-6 min walk to Southern Cross station and the skybus station which made reaching the hotel from melbourne airport extremely convenient (~40 mins). It's close to many cozy and prolific cafés for breakfast/brunch, lunch. Ease of access to gift shops, electronics, and post boxes as well. Amenities: Gym is available. Laundry with washers and dryers are also available but prepare coins. Security: Staffed during the day, and the automatic doors in the main hotel entrance could only be opened with keycards at night. Good safety. Service: Hospitable staff. Had issues with my room and they were happy to assist. Room: I booked the single room. Quaint and tiny. Room's very dark and quiet at night. Great sleep. Bathroom is equipped with heat lamps and exhaust fans which made super comfortable for a winter stay. Didn't use the AC much but I tried it out just to see that it worked. Runs well even though it's a bit noisy if you're sleeping. Towels and sheets mostly clean. I noticed some stains on the bedding once but otherwise good.

* Location: Near Queen Victoria Market, a bit far from the city center. * Cleanliness: Individual bathrooms in each room, so it's clean unless you get a troublesome neighbor. * Kitchen: Good facilities, no lingering smells after cooking (Minor drawback: a few fewer bowl-type dishes). * Bed: Excellent privacy, comfortable mattress (guaranteed good sleep). * LG appliances, kitchen/laundry room, and dining area all available. * Kitchen closes from 3-4 PM and from 10 PM onwards. * Level 1 might be a bit noisy. * Luggage storage is paid. Overall, despite the slightly inconvenient location, it's clean and a good place to stay.

Great value for money in a local motel. Neat and clean, hot shower with toiletries and hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities in the room, plenty of free parking.

A bit of a worry to start with, as we would arrive outside of reception hours, but we eventually got the process sorted. The first room we had a key for had not been serviced since the previous occupants, so we refused. The out of hour contact number, immediately sorted the problem and provided a new room - which was clean and great for our needs. Good location in a quite area of Melbourne, good food to be found locally. Overall, I'd stay here again, just a shame that first impressions weren't great (but the stay ended up being fine)  

Lovely vibes, cool chill areas, community bar and community events plus the staff especially the lovely guy who booked me in was Amazing. However it's a very crappy old building with Nil working properly showers and broken toilets. I had 1 night in a nice female room which I barely even saw as I was out and Tried to rest at a 2nd booking being shoved into a mixed smelly weird noisy dorm on a top bunk with ****** knocking on the door at all hrs, one guy snoring and another twat on the phone I told off. Was stressful and I hadn't a Warm shower in a working functioning bathroom in 2 days. Not returning. If you like noisy rude tourists and old buildings with no lift carrying your bags everywhere and no showers, great!

Room was exactly as described and with Cooktop, microwave, and fridge did not need take out all the time. Staff at front desk were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. May not be the flashiest hotel but it is great value for money and in a great location with a tram stop right outside the front doors, would recommend this hotel.

Pros: 1. location close to city 2. breakfast on site 3. free parking Cons: no reception staff at 8am or after 6pm, the notice on wall is to 7pm, have to wait 10 mins for staff to come from somewhere bit of unclean in detail but acceptable for the price
