"The owners were very welcoming, and the courtyard was kept very clean. The owner's wife was squatting on the ground pulling weeds; you could tell the couple took great care of the place. The small, pink room was exactly my wife's style. Even though it was our first day and not yet check-in time, the owner made us two cups of coffee and recommended some good restaurants nearby. In the evenings, you can have tea with the owner in the courtyard and listen to him tell stories about the people and experiences he's had running the guesthouse. The owner also has a slow-to-warm-up little dog named Bean Sprout."

"Because the Xiata cabin where I stayed the night before coming to Tekes had no bathroom, I wanted to take a good wash and rest in Tekes, so I chose this B&B. The humidifier was a blessing in a dry place like Xinjiang. The boss was very welcoming and responsive to our questions. "We stayed two nights in a row and it was definitely worth the trip. The facilities were top-notch; you could tell the owner put a lot of thought into the decor. My husband said the shower was the most comfortable he'd ever used. It truly lived up to hotel standards. The owners were also very kind. They even brought us watermelon in the evening and cooked a separate dish for us in the morning when we ran out of vegetables. The accommodation was very quiet, with a small courtyard where it was very pleasant to enjoy the breeze in the evenings."
