I chose this hotel in Ikebukuro for my trip to Tokyo. It's about a five-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station, which makes getting around quite convenient. There's a 7-Eleven right outside the hotel, so it's easy to pick up anything you need at any time. The front desk is on the third floor. Check-in was quick, and you can ask for multiple room cards if needed. There's also a hotel tax to pay, and the staff were all very friendly. For breakfast, you get a voucher when you check in. It's served on the second floor, and the dining hours are quite long, until 11 am. The set meals included in the voucher price are all good, with both Western and Japanese options, plus a self-serve beverage station. However, if it's not enough, you'll need to order and pay extra. The air conditioning in the room was comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, and the TV display was clear. Everything was great except for the Wi-Fi being a bit slow. On the first day, there were two complimentary bottled waters in the room, but after that, you have to go to the third floor to refill your own. For convenience, we just bought water from 7-Eleven. Other amenities like yukatas, toothbrushes, and towels can also be picked up from the third floor. On our last day, after checking out, we stored our luggage and went out for a bit. The weather was very hot these days, and when we returned, the staff thoughtfully offered us chilled wet wipes. They also gave us a warm send-off when we left. Overall, a very good stay.

Meimay ChongThe location is super convenient; as soon as you step out of the hotel, you're surrounded by all sorts of restaurants and convenience stores. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, well-equipped too. The staff were really friendly and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. Highly recommend this place, I'd definitely come back!

Egor SolovevI advise to stop, especially for couples without children. The location is in the center, a little far from the metro station, but there are a lot of restaurants and cafes.

Guest UserThe room is big, and we can put down three big and three small suitcases for our family of three, and there is still space. The location is good, and it is close to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Omotesando, or Ginza, which is why we chose this hotel. There are many restaurants downstairs, and there is an automatic orange juice machine on the right hand side of the door, 350 yen a cup. You can pay with Alipay QR code or cash. The first thing I do every morning when I get up is to buy orange juice.

Carey LoyCenturion Hotel Ueno was a complete disappointment, falling short of basic hospitality standards. The deception started right at check-in: the room was explicitly advertised and booked as a ”Casual Double Bed,” but what we actually received was a cramped single bed. This blatant misrepresentation immediately compromised the comfort of our stay.
The lack of care extended into the bathroom, which was a major letdown. The sink and shower area were marred by very bad, visible marks that made the entire space feel neglected and unhygienic. For a hotel that positions itself in a convenient location like Ueno, the absolute disregard for accurate room descriptions and rigorous housekeeping is unacceptable.

Room was clean, little bit smaller for European standards, but manageable.
Air Conditioner and one window to air the room.
Good location to start trips for whole Tokyo.

Guest UserThis hotel is conveniently located near Ueno Station. As it's a capsule hotel, there might be some inconveniences, but it's well-maintained. The hot spring is a definite plus.
