"We arrived here yesterday afternoon, joining my Dad and his partner for a fortnight’s’ holiday. They have been here many times but this is our first visit. It is beautiful. We have a riverfront site. The campsites are very generously sized, surrounded by manicured lawns and shaded by tall trees. The bird life is plentiful. As I write this, I can hear many different bird calls amongst the trees and from across the river. I threw a line in this morning and caught a bream after only a few seconds, but have only got undersized ones since then. Will have another go shortly. Other guests are catching them too. There is a large, well-equiped camp kitchen, with plenty of tables. The amenities block is very clean, with good quality equipment in the laundry. $5 per load for washer or dryer (takes both $1 and $2 coins) The bathrooms are individual ensuite-style with key access. The key (provided at check-in) will open all bathrooms, so don’t leave your toiletries behind when you have finished in there. The park is around 25 minutes south of Coffs Harbour where you will find all major shopping requirements. "
