"What a disappointment! Probably one of the best location we have seen in Norway but service is totally absent, the rooms are with minimal comfort and noisy… breakfast is strictly minimal. Yes they do have 2 chargers for cars but they do not know…. A joke from a county with so many electric cars ! Honestly, I believe that no one is in charge and we have seen absolutely no manager on duty. I put just above the minimum thanks to the incredible situation…."

"The hotel is nice, located by the lake, but I regret not choosing a lake-view room. The mountain-view rooms face the road and are quite noisy. There's a supermarket opposite the hotel, which is very convenient. There are three slow-charging stations and free parking at the hotel entrance. The breakfast is also good, and the restaurant has a fantastic view."

"Location is very central, just 5 minutes walk from Airport bus stop and just off main pedestrian street with shops and restaurants. Room was spacious and light and clean. However, despite requesting a room away from lift it was next to lift. When I checked in was told hotel busy so could not change room. So just a warning that hotel pays no attention to room requests. The hotel was also full of groups so breakfast was very busy with queues for food."

"After bird watching on Runde Island, choose to stay here for one night, about 20 minutes by car. The hotel is relatively new and relatively atmospheric, and there is a kettle and slippers in the room. The car can be parked in the opposite paid underground parking lot, or the free open-air parking in the town within a 3-minute walk. The town where it is located is not big, but it is very quiet, the balcony view is quite good, and the breakfast is more abundant. There are Chinese restaurant advertisements in the brochure at the door, but there is no time to experience it."

"This has to be the quintessential Norway hotel for these travelers. We had 2 rooms as we are a family of 4. The lesser of the 2 rooms was only ok, but the suite we had was just stunning, the views out the window were worth the additional cost. I might only review the hotel as a 4 if we had had the same style of room. I strongly suggest paying for the Suite with a sea view if available, not cheap but one does not go to Norway to save money. The dinner was ok, nothing great, but good enough. Breakfast was good as well. But the location and views were spectacular. We were given good recommendations on where to take an evening walk and a hike the next day. An absolute worthy spot, particularly if you are looking to drive the Queens Route on the way to Geirangerfjord."
