"We had a very special event at Mount William Station and it was spectacular! Not only is the property breathtaking but the fact that it could sleep all my family members was a massive bonus. The way the rooms have been restored, maintains the character of the historic building whilst adding modern day luxuries. For the event we opted for the food and drinks package which included an absolutely stunning 3 course meal as well as made to order cocktails. It truly gave the weekend such a lovely touch and is something I will never forget! Big thanks again to the lovely staff for having us and for bringing everything to live, we will be returning!"

"This motel has exceeded expectations beyond belief. The rooms are incredibly clean and they've been renovated to have new bathroom vanities. The little touches (coffee machine, mocha sachets and chocolates on the bed side table) in every room really make this place stand out amongst everything. The lovely owners really topped the place off with being kind and having a chat."

"Bed was comfortable, spa bath cabin was good. Well equipped for what I needed. The view of the well used dump point was a bit ordinary. It put you off sitting on the deck, especially while eating breakfast. Is there a reason they don't put dump points next to toilets? Great view of sunset at Lake Fyans. Close to food option in Pomonel at Barneys and not that far to Halls Gap and Halls Gap Zoo."

"A great place to stop on the way from Adelaide to Melbourne. Worried I wouldn't be able to check in before 6 PM, I called to inquire about self-service check-in. I was told it was available until 8 PM. Upon arrival, a foreign lady checked me in, but judging by the Maitreya Buddha and Maneki Neko decorations at the front desk, I assumed the owner was Chinese. The next day, when checking out, my daughter encountered a charming Chinese lady who even gave her candy from the Christmas tree. The hotel was clean, but one small suggestion: the pillows were too high, making sleeping very tiring. A set of loft pillows would have been perfect."
