Perfect hostel! Great amenities, clean, perfect value for monet. Also they have a nice lobby to meet good folks from all over the world

Today, I'm excited to share my top hostel pick with all of you, hoping you'll have an unparalleled stay just like I did! 📍**Location:** Strategically located along Metro Lines 2 and 6, the hostel is right next to Exit D of Bell Tower Metro Station. You can even spot the iconic Bell Tower from the lobby windows. It's only a 10-minute drive from Xi'an Railway Station, and Metro Line 2 offers direct access to Xi'an North Railway Station. For airport transfers, I highly recommend catching the airport shuttle from the nearby Bell Tower Hotel – it's incredibly convenient. ⭐**Hostel Facilities:** Despite being open for five years, it's evident that everyone here takes immense pride in maintaining the place, as all the facilities are exceptionally well-kept. The bedding is super comfortable, and fresh linens (a full set) are always ready upon check-in. Rooms come with electronic lockers for securing your personal belongings. The bathrooms are spotless, and the toiletries provided are of good quality, so you can use them without hesitation – no cheap, flimsy stuff here! Water dispensers, washing machines, and dryers are available 24/7, and there's a selection of board games you can play for free. The lounge area is filled with comfy sofas and chairs, perfect for chatting with friends or enjoying a sunny afternoon. I've met so many wonderful people here, and a few have even become great friends. I truly hope you'll find your own like-minded companions! 🍻**Hostel Vibe:** The atmosphere here is arguably the best of all the hostels I've stayed in – it's both comfortable and incredibly fun. There's usually a Werewolf game every night, and don't worry if you're new to it; everyone is more than happy to teach you. Weekends feature folk music performances and various mini-games, while holidays come with specially planned, exciting events. The bar offers a good selection of drinks that are definitely worth trying. Guests from all corners of the globe stay here, so if you're keen to practice your English or meet international travelers, this is absolutely the place to be. The best part? Every staff member greets you with a warm smile; their cheerful faces are truly heartwarming and uplifting. 🎂**A Little Announcement:** This year's Children's Day (June 1st) marks their 5th anniversary, with a 'Big Kids' Garden Party' theme! You're guaranteed to feel like the happiest big kid here again. Friends who are free, please come join the fun – you might even run into me! ;) ❤As I write this, my countless trips to Xi'an have, for now, come to an end. Flipping through my photo album to pick out pictures, I also found myself reminiscing about the past year. I feel so incredibly lucky to have had such a wonderful 'home base' like Backpackers during my tiring travels; it added a touch of excitement to my otherwise monotonous work life. I met so many interesting people and made countless unforgettable memories here – experiences that I'm sure I'll still smile about years from now, just as I do today. Coinciding with Backpackers Xi'an's 5th anniversary, I dedicate this to my favorite little haven. Wishing you all the very best and hoping to see you again! This was my first solo trip, and I figured a hostel would offer better value for money. It was also my first time staying at Backpackers Ten Years, a place I'd already heard good things about. The front desk staff provides a thorough check-in orientation for new arrivals, and everything feels very standardized. Luggage storage is available at the front desk, and guests can eat in the common areas. You'll find plenty of international travelers around. I was so immersed in the vibe that I didn't even snap a single photo of the place! The washing facilities were great. As for the dorms, some noise is to be expected, so bringing earplugs is recommended, but it's totally acceptable.

Spent three days there, very helpful staff who answered my questions in very good English! Food is delicious but a little expensive. They have normal/sit down toilets aswell.

One of the best hostels! The rooms are spacious—it never feels like 16 people are sharing the space. The beds are clean and comfortable, and it’s a big plus that they’re made up before guests arrive. There are plenty of clean showers and toilets. Little touches like cotton pads and shower caps show how much they care about their guests. The staff speaks excellent English and is incredibly welcoming and friendly. They genuinely go out of their way to help with any request. The tuna salad at the bar is delicious! Location is perfect as well. It’s convenient to visit different places in the city. Just a couple of minor points to note: The toilet lighting casts very odd shadows and is quite dim overall—it really needs better light. The showers could really use a shelf for personal toiletries, and hooks near the sinks would be handy for hanging towels and toiletry bags. Friendly tip for guests: Follow the metro exit C for the escalator—the hostel entrance is close by. Be prepared to carry your suitcase up a few steps on the way to the elevator. I’m really looking forward to seeing a place like this open in Shanghai and other cities. Definitely my favorite hostel!

It’s perfect. The staff is great, They are really helpful. I left my bag and they help me ship it to Beijing. All the services are also on point. The location is also Perfect highly recommend. 

I was personally really disappointed by this hostel. The rooms are perfectly clean and I had a good nights sleep but I hated the common area. It looks great but they play loud high energy music from 8am to late so there is nowhere to chill. There is a reading area but there is usually a person making a call from there which makes sense because there is nowhere else. Basically if you are looking for a hostel with a common area you can chill in don’t stay here! Also I thought the room layout wasn’t the best because there is no good place to put your luggage and the shower stalls would benefit from more storage. One final thing, I thought asking us to take off our shoes when we enter is just annoying, especially when lots of people don’t bother to follow this rule.

Wonderful staffs with adequate amenities and bar activities. Place is second to none! Direct bus to Terracota Army Museum stop is located right infront (Exit D) and famous tourist sites (Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Muslim Quarter, Great Mosque, etc) are conveniently located near the hostel. Xian wall entrance is just one subway stop from the hostel as well.

Friendly staffs , nice location, and easy check in service. Great service as always! Steps away from the metro station and the Bell tower.

Amazing location and very clean

Great, clean place. Convenient location. Air conditioning worked well enough that it didn't get too hot inside the pods.
