The swimming pool feels like it's fed by mountain spring water – it's so refreshing and the water is very clean."

"I was really angry. It was Chinese New Year and the environment in Xianhu was very good. I was quite satisfied! But on the day of check-out, the cleaning staff came to ask if they could come in to clean. The old man was sitting in the living room and didn't know, so he said yes. As a result, I saw them cleaning when I came back after breakfast. The experience was really bad. Even if they were very polite, it was very unreasonable. There was no reason for them to come to clean before I checked out. They shouldn't even ask! This kind of management is very bad. I'm very angry! I really won't come to this kind of hotel again! The hotel charges an additional 280 for singing K. Although they said they would give it to me in the end, the equipment was not very good. Why should they charge extra? Barbecue also requires an additional cleaning fee of 200, which is understandable! In short, I think the management of this hotel is very bad. It's very disappointing during Chinese New Year!"

"My friends & I stayed at this guesthouse for 2 nights and had the most special time. The day we arrived was cloudy, which didn’t matter at all because it actually made the misty mountain view even more enchanting. The staff welcomed us at our car with umbrellas because it was lightly raining- and they really made the whole stay even more special because of their inviting presence and friendly attitude. We were amazed by the rooms- the design was so elegant with very unique features and it all felt so clean. We had dinner the first night which was really tasty and they had lots of options for all diets- because I myself was vegan and they had many delicious options. There was a pool that had incredible views and fresh mountain spring water so we went for swim then went to the room for a dip in the hot springs tub. The next day was sunny and we went on a little adventure to a nearby outdoor activity center about 30 minutes driving away. They offered many activities, we did kayaking which was great. It was nice to explore the local area and it didn’t feel far because the views when driving through the mountains are so picturesque and there are several towns you can visit for any grocery needs, coffee or drinks to pick up. We were happy to go back to the guesthouse for dinner and a beautiful sunset in the mountains. We enjoyed our last night playing games by the fire pit All of us said we would rate this place 5 stars, it was a perfect stay. The air is clear, the atmosphere is tranquil and makes you feel so peaceful and calm. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a weekend trip to get out of the city because it’s only a few hours from Guangzhou! I will definitely go back in the future!"

It's a self-built villa, and since there were three families traveling together, we booked a three-bedroom, one-living-room room on the second floor. Firstly, it was very spacious; secondly, it was very bright; and finally, a great feature was that there were three bathrooms, so everyone didn't have to rush to shower – very comfortable! 🦦️🦦️ The owner was also very nice and offered even more discounted T3 tea garden tickets 🎫, and recommended some delicious Qingyuan chicken. ✔️A great accommodation, a great trip! 🦀🏻🦀🏻"

"My May Day trip to Yingxi Karst Forest uncovered a hidden gem of a guesthouse – Xiangfengge! The best decision I made during my trip to Huanghua Town, Yingde, Qingyuan was booking Xiangfengge Guesthouse. It deserves a perfect score! About the room: Clean and comfortable, impeccable attention to detail. The moment I entered, I felt refreshed. The room was spotless, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable – a godsend for someone like me who's a bit of a clean freak. To find such a clean and comfortable room near the heart of the scenic area is incredibly good value; I slept exceptionally well that night. About the scenery: Picturesque views right outside the window. The guesthouse's location is superb, situated in the heart of the Yingxi Karst Forest. Opening the window reveals rolling mountains and expansive pastoral scenery, making you feel like you're living inside a landscape painting. In the evening, sitting by the window or on the rooftop, watching the sunset paint the sky red, instantly soothed all the fatigue from work. About the hosts: Warm and friendly, it felt like home. The hosts and their family are truly super nice! The staff were incredibly warm and friendly. They not only provided detailed information about nearby restaurants and attractions upon check-in but also thoughtfully reminded me of many things to avoid. Staying here felt completely natural, like visiting an old friend's house – comfortable and welcoming. Regarding pets: The most touching thing about this place is that pets are allowed! I brought my own furry friend along to enjoy the scenery, and he was able to run and play freely in the open space. This pet-friendly atmosphere is a huge plus! In short, it was a perfect stay. If you're looking to escape the city for the May Day holiday and relax here, Xiangfengge is definitely a great choice! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Yingxi Karst Forest!"
