Big spacious room. Best location of the Ayers Rock resorts. Good to have laundry facilities.

The airport shuttle dropped us right at the hotel entrance. We left our luggage at the front desk for our early morning flight, and it was already in our room when we returned from our sunset tour in the afternoon. In a desert resort where options are limited, this hotel is definitely among the best. The rooms are spacious, featuring two 1.5-meter beds, and the bathrooms are very clean. Ground floor rooms come with outdoor chairs, which are perfect for enjoying afternoon tea and sunbathing. Housekeeping cleans the room and replaces towels daily. If you're not overly fussy, it's a solid choice. Oh, and the sandwiches at the bar are quite good! It's about a three-minute walk to the Town Square, and a ten-minute climb will get you to the lookout point for stunning Uluru sunrises and sunsets. All sorts of tours and activities can be booked with convenient pick-up and drop-off right at the hotel entrance. This makes things incredibly easy.

A 5 star rated and cost hotel with nice amenities and outdoor environment. Room is very spacious and faces the garden.  Hotel food pricing expensive and not worth the cost as there is a much better option at the Desert in the Garden hotel under same group.  Also staff service could do with more friendly smiles and welcoming attitudes.  Not sure if they are part timers or working holidays staff since some show their inexperience in service.  Other areas for improvement are insufficient signage of directions in such huge resort hotel, no room number on the desk phone in room, stains found on walls in bathroom and in toilet bowl (due to minerals in flushing water from the area per management explanation).

An excellent hotel. They provide airport pick-up and drop-off. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommend!

The room service was truly excellent! The thoughtful design of the entire room and bathroom was evident. I never expected such comfort in an inland location. This trip was absolutely worth it!

The toilet in the room had an unpleasant smell. Otherwise, everything was quite good.

Good trip

Contrary to some reviews which said that only The Desert Rose hotel had views of Uluru, my room here had a balcony, from the balcony we could see Uluru. It was lovely.

Unfortunately, I had no other options, but this hotel offered absolutely terrible value for money.

The Desert Sail Hotel is absolutely fantastic! It boasts a beautiful setting, convenient dining options, and is spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

All the hotels at Ayers Rock Resort are pretty much the same. The lack of a microwave was a minor inconvenience.

It's nice and super convenient, the staff is very helpful. It's a wonderful stay!

Great place to stay close to the town centre. They have buses that will pick you up and drop back to the airport.

It’s a lovely hotel but it’s not what you’d expect from a hotel at this price point anywhere else. The resort is monopolised so not much choice. The only dinner option is an extortionate dinner buffet for $102pp and breakfast is $50pp No diffuser for the hair dryer and the ironing table was broken and wouldn’t stay upright. But bed was big and super comfortable and otherwise the room was large and spacious. Bathroom was clean and water pressure etc… good.
