Although we stayed in a basement room this time, the Smart Choice King Room we booked was surprisingly well-lit and very spacious. It was impeccably clean every day, completely odor-free, and the bathroom had excellent water pressure. The two ladies at the front desk were incredibly friendly and welcoming, contributing to a truly great travel experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Shangzhi Metro Station, less than a 5-minute walk away. It's also within easy walking distance of major attractions like Central Street, Saint Sophia Cathedral, and Daoli Market. For dining convenience, there's a convenience store and a noodle shop right outside the entrance. Harbin in August boasts clear blue skies, with comfortably cool and refreshing weather, making it perfect for sightseeing.

Its a pleasant experience staying in the hotel. We were very appreciative of Manager Jenny who made us very nice 3D imprint yogurt & also inform the chef to pack some finger food / pastry for us next morning after hearing we are leaving by 530 in the morning. The service exceeeded what we expected so we will surely return again. The hotel also gave us a free cake & the rooms were nice as it allows for 5 of us to stay inside comfortably with 4 bathrooms. The kids had their own beds & rooms which is good!

The location is convenient, it's clean and hygienic, and the service attitude is super good. The cleaning lady was also particularly warm and friendly ❤❤❤. The self-service afternoon tea 🍵 offered in the lobby was a lovely touch. This was a really great experience, and I've already recommended it to friends.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I understood the true definition of ”luxury.” The European palace-style decor was elegant and grand, with artwork adorning the walls and carpets so plush my toes sank into them – every detail exuded centuries of refined taste. The service was impeccable; the concierge proactively took my luggage, the front desk staff handled check-in with patience and meticulousness, and they even remembered my niche preferences. I felt genuinely cared for, like family, with absolutely no sense of distance. The room's design was a work of art. Soft, apricot-colored bathrobes, fresh-cut roses replenished daily, custom fragrances lingering in the air, and an electric curtain that revealed a stunning view. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, instantly melting away travel fatigue. The bathroom was spacious with practical double sinks, and the amenities were top-notch. Taking a bath while watching the mirror TV added a wonderful touch of ceremony. The dining experience was equally impressive. The breakfast buffet was displayed like an art exhibition, with fresh and exquisite ingredients. The chef even thoughtfully brought out freshly made Eggs Benedict. The custom cocktails at the Hemingway Bar were rich and smooth, and their extensive wine collection was simply astounding. From the attentive service in the public areas to the thoughtful details in the room, this stay created unforgettable and beautiful memories. This hotel truly lives up to its reputation as a synonym for top-tier luxury. Everything, from the facilities to the service, was exceptional. It absolutely deserves a five-star recommendation, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip!

The environment here is really excellent. The lobby feels luxurious, and the front desk staff are well-equipped and resolve any issues immediately. The room was clean and warm, and the air conditioning worked perfectly whenever I needed it. They even gave me extra parking vouchers upon check-out, which was a thoughtful touch. I've found a real gem of a hotel! Plus, Xicheng Hongchang is right downstairs with tons of great food [grinning face].

This hotel has very spacious rooms and incredibly hospitable staff. The afternoon tea, available until late at night, was delicious. The bathroom was huge and so warm you could comfortably wear a T-shirt. Everything was very clean. Just a two-minute walk downstairs is the famous Hongzhuan Morning Market, and it's a short walk to St. Sophia Cathedral and Central Street. The subway is also just two minutes away on foot, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The best part is the excellent value for money! I didn't try the hotel breakfast, but I heard it's very rich and varied, so I'll definitely experience it next time!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, being close to both the morning and night markets, as well as several important riverside attractions. Dining and shopping options are also very convenient. The rooms are spacious with a practical layout, and basic amenities were mostly in place. As Heihe's morning market is quite famous, we opted not to have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment on that. However, the cleanliness was not up to par; there were small flying insects in the room, likely coming up from the drain. The service also left much to be desired. Not only did they fail to accommodate our request for a room away from the elevator, but they assigned us a room right by the elevator entrance, citing room type as the reason. Later, we discovered that rooms of our booked type were indeed available further from the elevator. Furthermore, to borrow an umbrella, we had to pay a 50 deposit per umbrella. While it was refunded immediately upon return, it still left a slightly unpleasant feeling for a hotel guest.

This was my second trip to Harbin. We took a few kids to Snow Village to see the snow, and our return flight was early in the morning. To avoid rushing, I booked a hotel near the airport that offered free shuttle service. The front desk service was excellent; seeing we had children, they proactively offered to upgrade us to a family room and even brought us slippers. They were very thoughtful and welcoming. They also provided ID covers during check-in, paying attention to small details, which really made us feel the warmth of the Northeast. Loved it.

Facilities: The advantages are the spacious room with large windows and a comfortable bed. The room also has a mini-fridge, which is very practical! Disposable toiletries were replenished promptly, and bottled water and drinks could be requested freely and without limit. The downsides are that the bathroom is a bit small and the drainage isn't great. There are no USB charging ports, and the lighting is a bit dim. The TV didn't work. Also, taking the elevator during peak hours was annoying because there are many units in the apartment building, leading to crowding! Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Environment: The location is excellent, right next to Harbin West Station and the Wanda commercial district, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's also close to the airport, with shuttle buses available at Harbin West Station, and the hotel offers free pick-up and drop-off. Service: The butler service was good, patient, conscientious, and responsible! The biggest highlight was the late-night snack; although the variety was limited, it was delicious. I recommend the wontons and Dalu noodles! Breakfast was decent, with rotating dishes daily. Local specialties like Guobaorou (sweet and sour pork) and Harbin red sausage were available every day. The room offers great value for money! Finally, a word about the self-service laundry room! The hygiene of the washing machines was genuinely concerning. After washing a few clothes, I regretted it immensely. The attendant said one machine was broken and another was in use, so she told me to use the large pulsator washing machine. The result was that all my clothes came out covered in sticky white lint, some unknown substance. It forced me to wait for someone else to finish with the drum washing machine and then re-wash everything, but they still didn't come clean. I had to take them home and wash them again there. This incident significantly detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay.

True to Shangri-La's reputation! The only slight downside was that breakfast wasn't included for children, but the room we booked came with breakfast on the 28th floor, so that worked out well. The accommodation itself was excellent with an unbeatable view. I'd definitely choose to stay here again.

GGuest UserMy recent stay at the Yabu Loni Hotel was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. It perfectly combined comfort, convenience, and fantastic service, making for a memorable winter getaway. First and foremost, the hotel itself is lovely. The hotel counter staff are helpful and friendly too. The rooms are nice and cozy, providing the perfect warm and inviting retreat after a long day on the slopes. It felt like a true home away from home. The highlight of our trip was the seamless ski package coordinated with the Sun Mountain Ski Resort, the snowboard equipment is new. The package made everything incredibly easy, and I must give a special commendation to the staff at Sun Mountain Resort. They were exceptionally professional and efficient. Their excellence was truly demonstrated when I unfortunately lost my DJI Pocket 3 on the way to the slope. Once I reported it lost, they managed the situation brilliantly and, to my immense relief, helped me find it! This level of care and responsibility is truly above and beyond. When it came to dining, the hotel’s restaurant, Er Bin Si Fang Cai, was a delight. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet provided by the hotel every morning, which was a great way to start the day. The food and service were so good that I ended up having dinner at the restaurant every night. The service was attentive, and the food was consistently delicious. In summary, I highly recommend Yabu Loni Hotel. The cozy atmosphere, valuable ski package, and outstanding service from both the hotel and Sun Mountain Resort team make it a top choice. I will definitely be returning!

MM760240****The cold in Northeast China is a physical attack, but the warmth and hospitality at Nannan Homestay are like magic defense! The owner and his family are incredibly welcoming. They saw our heavy luggage and proactively helped us carry it. Every morning, they'd have the 'kang' (heated bed) pre-warmed, and before we left, they'd repeatedly remind us of important things – even more considerate than family. The food at the guesthouse is homemade and delicious; the chicken and mushroom stew and 'shazhucai' (pork stew with pickled cabbage) are authentic and so satisfying, with portions so generous we couldn't finish it all. When we were leaving, the owner even gave us frozen persimmons to eat on the road. This genuine warmth made our entire Snow Valley trip extra unforgettable.

IIBRAHIM إِبۡرَاهِيمَ 依布拉欣If you're planning to visit the Harbin Ice and Snow World, remember to purchase spikes at the counter (8 YUAN). It's affordable and can prevent falls and injuries. Unfortunately, I slipped on the ice and badly hurt my ankle. Luckily, there's a nearby hospital, Harbin Shengfeng Hospital, just a 10-15 minute walk away (you can use Google Maps). The doctors there are helpful, but they don't speak English, so bring your passport and use Google Translate if needed. On a brighter note, I really enjoyed staying at this hostel. They have a large mirror and a hot water station where you can prepare instant noodles. Although they don't have a kitchen, you can easily get utensils and a mug from nearby convenience stores, especially if you're planning to make coffee. One thing I found really convenient was the international charger ports provided for each bed. Before checking out, remember to strip your bed and leave a note in the lobby to indicate your presence. I left a Malaysian flag as my mark.

GGuest UserHarbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly. The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon. The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price. I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing. The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games. It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel. Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.

11880749****My daughter and I visited Harbin for the first time, and we were thoroughly impressed by everything. The Xiyue Hotel was undoubtedly the highlight, truly living up to its name and bringing us much joy. The hotel's facilities, cleanliness, and service were all impeccable. Its location is superb, being just about a ten-minute walk from all the main attractions. The self-service laundry room was a great convenience, helping to refresh our travel-worn clothes. The electric massage beds provided much-needed relaxation for our weary bodies after a day of sightseeing. The housekeeping staff were attentive and genuinely warm, ensuring we returned each day from our excursions to a spotless and tidy room.

__WB44284****Traveling to Harbin with my kids, we chose the Harbin Huate Hotel, which is right next to Central Street. The location is absolutely fantastic; you step out and you're on Central Street. We could walk to many attractions like the Flood Control Memorial Tower, the Songhua River banks, St. Sophia Church, and the Railway Bridge. It was perfect for family travel because when the kids got tired, we could just head back to the hotel to rest and then set out again. The hotel also has a parking lot right at the entrance, which is great for those traveling by car. The manager at the front desk was incredibly warm and attentive, even helping us upgrade to a larger room. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and highly recommend it to friends!

__WeChat460420****What's it like to be a ”castle owner” for a night? The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck – a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view. The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please. This time, I stayed in the most affordable ”Viscount Interior Room.” The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside – a small regret. It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the ”Chocolate Castle” theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place? Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.
