It was very good, the person on check-in was really amazing and everyone was good as well. I loved our stay there. We booked a room for 4 people but they upgraded us to Executive suite. It was so nice of them. I wish we had Haram view but it was 2 mins walk from Mosque.

Initially i got surprised after Booking hotel informed me that they couldn’t find my booking and advised me to contact with service provider. I called Trip.com Saudi  Arabia contact number they supported within 30 minutes.Not only provided me new hotel confirmation number but also sent confirmation email as well.When I called with new confirmation number it was okay and I reached and faced no issues.It was great experience with Trip.com to book  Such a nice property in very reasonable price and no hidden charges.Finally we enjoyed it.

The Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah is truly exceptional. It's consistently our top choice when visiting Madinah. The hotel excels in every aspect: its unparalleled proximity to Al-Haram, the excellent service from all staff, impeccable cleanliness, and the quality of its food (I only had the breakfast). The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the staff were incredibly attentive, readily bringing drinks and even food upon request. Their hospitality is truly outstanding. We had guests during our stay, and when we requested Arabic coffee, the staff went above and beyond, graciously providing complimentary baklava, dates, fresh fruit, and coffee. A special mention goes to Mr. Hani Al Khattab, who was exceptionally helpful and responsive to all our needs. Any room service request was delivered swiftly and in record time.

A solid 3 out of 5. Budget hotel, clean fine for solo travellers and within 15-20 minute walk from Masjid Nawabi. Thanks to the receptionists who upgraded the room to a king-size bed suite and offered the day extension for the same room, too. Breakfast consists of a set menu, not a buffet, which, although adequate, is nothing special. A few places are within a few minutes' walk. Showroom was clean but oddly lacked a shower screen, so water splashed over the toilet! Not sure what the builders were thinking as if they wanted a wet room or a normal bathroom, but ended up with an in-between. The hotel itself is located not on the posh side of Medina but 1.2km from Masjid, but being a budget friendly option, it's fine. Top Tip for solo travellers, if you're able to then walk a little under 2km from Hotel to bus station locted near Prophets Mosque to get the 400 bus that will take you straight to Medina Airport It's much cheaper than taxi and Uber options.

I stayed at Odst Al Madinah Hotel from April 7 to April 10, 2025, and paid 1,078 AED for three nights, booked online through Trip.com. For the location, the price is quite affordable — still not super cheap, but definitely worth it for what you get. I booked it just one day before arriving, and it was one of the cheapest options available in that area at the time. I paid online, and there was no extra deposit required, which made the whole check-in process really smooth. When I arrived, there was a long queue at reception, but one of the staff members noticed and opened a new counter, calling me over and helping me check in quickly. That made a good first impression. The staff were generally kind and helpful, except for one staff member at the small bakery shop in the lobby — he seemed to be always in a hurry and a bit rude, but it wasn’t a big issue. The location is definitely one of the best things about this hotel. It’s around a 10-minute walk to Masjid Nabawi, or even less if you walk fast. The hotel is located near Fahad Road, where you’ll find the Madinah Frame and many well-known hotels. It’s also near the main entrance of the mosque, so if you’re walking with women, it’s very convenient — you can enter directly without needing to take the long detour to the women’s gate. The surrounding area is vibrant and full of life, with shops, groceries, shopping centers, and a very spiritual atmosphere. During prayer times, it’s beautiful to walk together with crowds heading to the mosque. I didn’t book the room with breakfast, but the hotel does offer Indonesian food. If you’re in your room, you can dial 1518 to connect to the next hotel — I think it’s called Zowar Hotel — and place an order. I tried calling them a few times, but either no one picked up or they told me the kitchen was closed (probably because I called late at night), so I didn’t get to try their food. However, there’s a great nearby Indonesian restaurant called Sunda Restaurant that I recommend for anyone looking for familiar flavors. In the hotel lobby, there’s a small bakery-style shop that sells cakes, bread, coffee, and tea — convenient for a quick bite or drink, although the staff there weren’t the friendliest. The room itself was excellent — very clean, comfortable, with consistently hot water, and I had no issues with anything inside. However, the hallway outside the room was a bit noisy, so if you’re a light sleeper, that’s something to keep in mind. One thing to be aware of is that housekeeping tends to knock and open the door with their key if there’s no answer — this happened to me once, so I recommend always responding right away if someone knocks. In conclusion, I highly recommend Odst Al Madinah Hotel for those who want to stay close to Masjid Nabawi but are also looking for a budget-friendly option. It offers great value for its location, comfort, and service, especially compared to other hotels in the same area.

Convenient location and food quality is average. Breakfast is better than dinner

Good hotel, its best for the ladies that need to walk directly across to the sisters side for praying. The walk is about 5 min or less for fast walkers, but 8-10 mins for slow walkers. The hotel is close to many amenities, there is a laundry place and pharmacy just under the hotel. Breakfast is good no issues.
