Many people think there is nothing to see in Haikou, but they are greatly mistaken; if you're willing to explore, there are still many fun places to visit. It's a free contribution, so hurry up and save it~ ⭕️ Meishe River Fengxiang Wetland Park Meishe River Fengxiang Wetland Park is the largest urban wetland park in Haikou. 🍔 Time needed: more than 3 hours 🍎 Admission: Free 🚘 Location: No. 230-2, Maiying Road, Qiongshan District, Haikou 🍄 Public Transport: Take bus 76; 96; Airport Line 1 to Fengxiang Wetland Park (bus stop) and walk to reach 🍇 Opening hours: All day ⭕️ Qiongzhou Culture and Folk Street It is a large ecological cultural theme shopping park that integrates Li and Miao architectural styles (stilt houses, boat-shaped houses) with Hainan tropical garden art, featuring Li and Miao themed exhibition halls and showcasing tropical plants of Hainan, including rare tropical plants. 🍔 Time needed: 1-3 hours 🍎 Admission: Free 🚘 Location: Binjiang Road, Qiongshan District, Haikou (next to the old Nandu River iron bridge) 🍄 Public Transport: Take bus 218; 607; Suburban Line 1, get off at the Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation Service Center (bus stop) 🍇 Opening hours: 09:30-18:30 ⭕️ Leiqiong Haikou Volcanic Cluster Global Geopark Leiqiong Haikou Volcanic Cluster Global Geopark is located in Shishan Town, Haikou. The park has a variety of volcanoes and is a natural geological museum. From the commanding heights of the volcano crater, you can overlook Haikou city and the Qiongzhou Strait, offering charming views. Following the trails in the scenic area, you will see lush tropical plants along the way, as well as landscapes left by volcanic eruptions such as basalt and lava flows. There is also a volcanic stone culture park that displays village gates, stone mills, stone bowls, stone basins, stone tables, and sugar cane tools made from volcanic stones over 2,000 years ago, making you feel as if you've stepped back into the Stone Age. The trail ends at the Volcano Temple, with a horizontal tablet inscribed with 'Mountains Match the Heavens' and stone tablets engraved with 'Great King God', 'Earth God', and 'Yingzhu God'. There are 199 steps on the slope, with 99 representing the Double Ninth Festival and 100 meaning that completing this volcano crater will lead to a long life of a hundred years. Further up is the Ma'anling volcano crater, one of the world's most intact extinct volcano craters, with a depression in the middle and two peaks rising to the north and south, respectively called Fenglu Ridge and Baozi Ridge, which from a distance look like a huge saddle, hence the name Ma'anling. There are 5 viewing spots along the circular mountain trail where you can enjoy the view of the volcano crater. Among them, the Ma'anling volcano crater is the highest point in Haikou, with an altitude of 222.8 meters, offering a great view on clear days, and many tourists take photos here. Another notable viewing spot is the Qianzhuque (Viewing Haikou) platform, from which you can see the blue sea and sky of the Qiongzhou Strait, the high-rise buildings of Haikou city like a peacock spreading its tail; looking south, you can see the rolling volcanoes covered with tropical rainforest, offering enchanting scenery. In addition to viewing the volcano crater, you can also follow the trail into the bottom of Fenglu Ridge crater, which looks like a huge pot, and it is said that the larger area can accommodate tens of thousands of people. The crater is very cool and full of plants, making it a natural oxygen bar, and you can also see volcanic slag, lava cakes, and volcanic bombs, remnants of volcanic eruptions. 🍔 Time needed: more than 3 hours 🍎 Admission: 54 RMB 🚘 Location: No. 89, Fengjing Road, Shishan Town, Xiuying District, Haikou 🍄 Public Transport: Take the Tourist Line 1 to the Volcano Crater Geological Park (bus stop), walk about 332 meters to reach 🍇 Opening hours: Summer: 08:00-18:00; Winter: 07:30-18:30 ⭕️ Meixiao Village Meixiao Village is located in the Yangshan volcanic area that has been active for thousands of years, in the southern part of Haikou. The entire village is made up of the most characteristic volcanic stone tile houses, and it is the most well-preserved volcanic stone village. The root carving skills of Meixiao Village have been listed as intangible cultural heritage of Hainan Province. 🍔 Time needed: 1-3 hours 🍎 Admission: Free 🚘 Location: Yongxing Town, Xiuying District, Haikou 🍄 Public Transport: No direct bus service, it is recommended to drive or transfer to Yongxing Town first, then go to Meixiao Village 🍇 Opening hours: All day ⭕️ Guanlan Lake New Town The new city is under construction, everything is new, with complete facilities! Haikou Teddy Bear Museum Located in Guanlan Lake New Town, Haikou, it is connected to the Teddy Bear Museum in Jeju Island, Korea, and is a teddy bear-themed cultural exhibition hall owned and directly operated by the Korean corporation JSF Company in China. The entire museum consists of the Belt and Road Theme Hall, Teddy Bear History Hall, LV Teddy Bear Holographic Image 3D Hall, Teddy Bear Art Gallery, Underwater World, and Teddy Bear Gift Shop, totaling 7 areas. 🍔 Time needed: about 1 day 🍎 Admission: Free 🚘 Location: No. 1, Guanlan Lake Avenue, Longhua District, Haikou 🍄 Public Transport: Take bus 7; 16; Airport Bus Line 3; Longhua District Tourism Sightseeing Line Day Line; You 8 to Guanlan Lake New Town (bus stop), walk to reach 🍇 Opening hours: 08:30-22:00
