🏰 The haveli (mansion) was built in 1805 by the Patwas (a wealthy family) and took about 55 years to complete. It is a combination of five different havelis, each with its own unique quality. The family still lives in some parts of the haveli which are excluded from tourist access. 📍 Location - It is within walking distance from the Jaisalmer fort, which is one of the main attractions of Jaisalmer and located in the heart of the city of Jaisalmer. It is quite accessible through public or private transport.
