Kaifeng's Qingming Riverside Park

Qingming Riverside Park is based on Zhang Zeduan's Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival, presenting the bustling scene of the ancient capital Bianliang (now Kaifeng) during the Northern Song Dynasty, with its ancient streets and characters. I plan to visit Kaifeng's Qingming Riverside Park at two o'clock in the afternoon and watch the performance of The Dream of East Tokyo in the evening. The ticket for Qingming Riverside Park is 120, with a discounted ticket of 60 (children under 1.2 meters are free). If you buy a ticket for The Dream of East Tokyo performance, you can get free admission to Qingming Riverside Park. Since it's privately developed, it's not cheap at all. The Dream of East Tokyo has the same price for everyone above 1.2 meters, and we bought tickets for Area A at 299 per person (a raincoat was also provided upon entry). In Qingming Riverside Park, we watched performances such as Bao Gong's Patrol Case, Qigong Fire Breathing, Wang Yuanwai's Son-in-law Recruitment, Water Puppetry (marionette show on water), The Defense of Tokyo, and Yue Fei's Spear Challenge against Little Prince Liang, with the last two being must-sees. The water puppetry is popular with children, telling the story of Nezha's Havoc in the Sea. The Defense of Tokyo is a large-scale water battle with explosions (very loud sounds), smoke, and a grand scene. Yue Fei's Spear Challenge against Little Prince Liang is a horseback performance, not as good as the performance in Wuxi's Three Kingdoms City. The lantern exhibition at night is beautiful. At eight o'clock, we went to see The Dream of East Tokyo (a large-scale water-based live performance), which is a series of stories connected by Song Dynasty lyrics. The dazzling lights, beautiful costumes, magnificent stage, and classic Song lyrics provide a strong audio-visual shock!
