The story-filled diaolou and the stories of the diaolou

Kaiping Diaolou is one of the 36 World Cultural Heritage sites in China, and Zili Village in Kaiping, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province is the main area of the World Heritage site. There are more than 20 diaolou buildings existing, which are the historical marks of generations of Kaiping overseas Chinese struggling overseas and returning home to start businesses.
