The most sacred street in Lhasa: Barkhor Street

☘️Barkhor Street, also known as Octagonal Street, is located in the old city of Lhasa. It is one of the oldest streets in Lhasa and a famous pilgrimage route. It originated in the 7th century AD, and here you can find traditional Tibetan culture: Jokhang Temple, sweet tea, butter tea, and devout pilgrims. 🌿Barkhor Street is composed of Barkhor East Street, Barkhor West Street, Barkhor South Street, and Barkhor North Street, forming a polygonal street ring with a circumference of about 1000 meters and 35 alleys. It is a yellow two-story building.
