Longnan is the last secret place of Longquan, an isolated homestay

If Songyang ancient village is known for its numerous villages and well-preserved features, hailed as 'the last secret place in the south of the Yangtze River,' then Longnan is the last secret place of Longquan. This area is dense with ancient villages, well-preserved, and also has a unique mushroom culture and many social temples. Unlike Songyang, Longquan has no 'rescue ancient buildings' campaign, and the ancient villages are declining, with traditional features being lost. The large villages that once had thousands of residents now only have a handful of elderly people remaining. Many descendants of these ancient villages are outstanding and have moved to the county town and other places. It is unknown whether they are willing to revive the ancient villages of Longquan and make full use of these traditional cultural resources.
