Just okay.

I agree with other reviews, there are some interesting sites, old trains from days long gone. There is a child's train you can ride on for an additional ticket. There is also a child's play area with several toy train play stations. Inside the museum, you are completely self-guided with the exception of the Presidential train car. I was disappointed to learn that the Presidential train car (the best-restored car at the museum) requires an additional ticket - and you will not be given this information at the time you purchase your entry ticket - so we were trying to see the Presidential train and a man physically stopped us from passing through and said we had to go back to the ticket office and pay $5.00 each to tour the train. At first, I thought he was kidding, then I thought he was scamming us, then I asked and found out that it was true. I thought this was completely unprofessional. There is no signage anywhere on the property stating this policy. The grounds of the museum are in very poor condition. Piles of debris, broken fencing, and dilapidated equipment is prominent. It is sad that such an old museum cannot get volunteers to tidy up and make the grounds safer. #themepark#zoo#nationalpark#lakes
