The Vatican City ,Another country within Rome

When you’re visiting the Vatican City in Rome, you’re visiting the World’s smallest country (yes The Vatican is a country!). The Vatican City is free to enter, allowing you to meander the likes of St. Peter's Basilica and St. Peter's Square without dropping a dime. Be sure to check this city if you’re in Rome! Lots of walking in here, and lots to see and learn about in the Vatican Museum. It is so crowded and full of tourists so be there earlier as you need to WALK ALOT and go through the security checks hence buffer enough time to meet your guide if you are taking one to visit the museum. i highly recommend one as this will helps you learn more on the history and art. Covering a staggering 9 miles, the Vatican Museums’ art collection includes Greek and Roman sculptures; masterworks by Raphael, Giotto, Perugino and Caravaggio to name just a few Renaissance geniuses; medieval maps and tapestries; and world-famous rooms like the Sistine Chapel. It is really huge- so spent half the day in here to fully inmerse in it. If you’re lucky you may also see the Pope at some days!
