Record-Breaking Skyscraper

We took metro to the XianShen Station to see the world famous 101. We took pictures of 101 from afar and walked about 7 mins to the building. There is a shopping mall in 101. The top 2 level of the malls are for luxury brands. The second and ground level are stores of popular brands. Food court is at the basement level. You can walk to the metro station from the basement level. You can get tickets directly from their counters on the 5th floor of the taller building (most of the mall was actually housed in the shorter building right next door). Many people mentioned there being a long queue, but there was zero queues when we visited on a weekday afternoon. Worth visiting both 89th and 101th floor - since you're already there, might as well experience it all. There's an outdoor floor called Skyline460 where you're secured using safety ropes and carabiners... for the more adventurous. If you want fabulous views of Taipei and a fast elevator ride, don’t miss it.
