Small, fun capital of BC

Victoria is around an hour's ferry ride away from Vancouver and another 40 mins bus ride to the city center. It's a lovely small city that's charming and very picturesque. Of course, you have to visit the Parliament building, which is a grand building with lovely domes overlooking the harbor. The garden area around the building is also a very nice stroll. The harbor area is full of energy and life, and there always seems to be something going on. It's also a good place to stroll along and get lovely views of the water. There's also a Chinatown in the city which offers many cool narrow alleys.You can also get some Chinese food here. A bit afield, there's the market for the beginning (or end) of the long TransCanada highway. A nice sign marks that point and the area is also has great sea views. Overall Victoria is a great day trip from Vancouver. It's calm and quaint and offers you several attractions! This city is full of greenery! #travel #daytrip #victoria #canada
