Let’s Meet some Aussie’s Animals!
#timetotravel #australia #melbournetrip #daytrip #wildlife
Just around an hour drive from Melbourne, there’s this wonderful place where you can see all kind of animals that are native to Australia. Koalas and kangaroos are no stranger, but have you seen Tasmanian Devil, Wombats, Dingo, and variety of birds you may not see in your own country?
Definitely worth a visit when you come to Australia!

Go to Melbourne!!
Melbourne has so many cute animals and breathtaking scenery that I think everyone should go there at least once. I am definitely returning to Australia for the beautiful nature. Melbourne is definitely underrated sometimes. Did you know that you can ski in Melbourne by going to the Mount Buller? Also go to Fitzroy for the for the excellent cafés in street art and vintage stores!

Get up close and personal with wildlife here!
If you are an animal lover, you should check out Moonlit Sanctuary located in Melbourne, Australia. This sanctuary is home to all of Australia’s local wildlife, such as kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, Tasmanian devil and much more! The animals are very tame and not caged, allowing you to interact with them at a close proximity, and even feed them as you wish! To add, the sanctuary is super picturesque, with charming lakes and forests where you can have a picnic with the animals.

Fun place to get close to the wallby 🦘
May 2016 • Family
First the admission ticket is more affordable compared to other zoos/sanctuary. We bought the food package to feed kangaroo / wallaby for $2. Along the Wallaby walk, you can really have a very up close experience with the wallaby and kangaroo. My kids love feeding them and keep wanting to go back. For other animal experience, you may need to pay a fee ($15 for koala). We did not take as we were quite happy to see if from a quite close distance. The only complaint I had was at the restaurant the food took a long time to arrive though the restaurant was not so crowded at all. You may want to spend lunch elsewhere (like at the Ashcome Maze cafe nearby).
