One of the majestic temples in China🪬💜
What I find fascinating about China is that how many majestic Buddhist statues and temples are here in this country. Lingshan Giant Buddha is one of those temples located at the northern bank of Taihu Lake, Wuxi City, Jiangsu province. 🪷📿
The bronze buddha statue here is 88 meters tall which was built in 1997 and is 17 meters taller than Leshan Giant Buddha in Sichuan. It’s one of the tallest buddha statues in China and also in the world.
I visited there on the weekend from Shanghai. I took the high speed train from Hongqiao station to Wuxi and then took a direct bus. In the scenic spot, there were 100s of devotees praying and soaking up the divinely atmosphere. I did the same 😌🙏
One of my best weekend trip! 💕 Just go there 😀
Don’t miss the show.

Lingshan Scenic Spot
What a fabulous place!
We went to visit the park on a Monday outside the holidays and it was very quiet and peaceful.
The scenery is beautiful and well worth the pricey entrance fee (210RMB/Person; children and 70+ go for half price).
Highlight of course is the giant Buddha. It is quite a climb (210 stairs), but very worth it! But we also enjoyed the immersive theatre spectacle, that combines iMax movie with live performance.
It is quite far from the city center and taking a Didi is the best option to get there. Food options are limited, but pretty tasty and affordable.
Wuxi Wonders
#celebratewithtripthis cluster of temples and Grand Buddha statue are in Ling Shan in Wuxi, China. Situated at the northern bank of Taihu Lake, the surrounding scenery is stunning, and it’s such a serene and tranquil place. The statues and architecture of the buildings are intricate and unique. The main Buddha statue situated at the top of lots of steps, is one of the biggest in the world. There is a lotus flower statue which opens to reveal a baby Buddha, representing his birth; it opens every hour and as it turns, the most beautiful music is played and the water fountain cascades water which moves in different directions (it is truly breathtaking). This beautiful area has so many beautiful temples including the Lingshan Brahma Palace, the Five Signets Palace and the Hand of Buddha. You can slowly wander around taking in the sights. It’s a magnificently ethereal place to visit.
The LingShan Buddha Wuxi China 🇨🇳
The LingShan Buddha is one of the worlds largest buddha and is a huge tourist attraction located in the outskirts of the city of Wuxi.
The LingShan Buddha stands tall and strong on top of the hill, up the steps, and near the mountains. Usually people can be found praying to the Buddha and shopping at the gift shops located under the Buddhas feet as well as at the bottom of the stairs.
The Buddha can be very crowded in high season especially the summer and yet it is not so difficult to reach.
A car or taxi is recommended however, get with some friends and family and ride share your way there.
Would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

Largest Bronze Buddha in the world !
Lingshan Giant Buddha or Lingshan Buddha, is one of the symbols of Wuxi City located at the northern bank of Taihu Lake. This holy land - Lingshan Grand Buddha Scenic Area gets its name because it is in “small Lingshan”, named by Xuanzang - a famous Chinese Buddhist monk in early Tang Dynasty (A.D. 618-907). Built in 1997, the bronze Shakyamuni Buddha at Lingshan stands majestically at 88 meters tall, among which the body of the Buddha is 79 meters and the lotus flower pedestal is 9 meters. Embraced by three hills and facing Taihu Lake, this great Buddha is friendly smiling, observing all livings and protecting his people.

Wuxi famous scenic spot, Lingshan Giant Buddha. The history of
Lingshan can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty more than 1,000 years ago. It is said that Xuanzang returned from the West and traveled to the southeast to see Xiaolin Mountain. See the "layers of greenery", the scenery is extraordinary, greatly appreciated, "No The victory of the National Spirit of the West is also "! So I named this mountain Xiaolingshan. The Lingbi Mountain in India is the place where Sakyamuni became a Buddha. It is a famous Buddhist shrine, and the younger disciple is here to preside over the opening ceremony. The Xiaolingshan Temple has gradually developed. The Lingshan Giant Buddha standing in the south of Xiaoling Mountain, including the lotus seat, is eighty-eight meters high, which is equivalent to the height of a 30-storey building. It is more than a mountain in which the mountain is a Buddha and the Buddha is a mountain. The Buddha is still 17 meters tall and is by far the tallest Buddha statue in China!

Standing in awe of these majestic marvels, I couldn't help but feel a profound sense of tranquility wash over me. Each intricate detail of the Buddha's serene countenance and the intricate architecture of the palace whispered tales of ancient wisdom and spiritual enlightenment.

Wuxi's spring season is limited, and the upcoming Lingshan will be as beautiful as an oil painting
Spring comes with nothing to do, just busy with flowers💐
It's the season to enjoy flowers again!
The Lingshan in Wuxi for the next month can satisfy all your expectations for spring!
Please accept this punch card strategy for a spring tour of the Lingshan scenic spot👇👇👇
🌟Recommended route: Lingshan Spring Secret Realm~Nine Dragons Bathing~Lingshan Grand Buddha~Brahma Palace~Manfeilong Pagoda~Wuyin Altar City
✅Lingshan Spring Secret Realm
Located on the west side of Nine Dragons Bathing, you can see it along the electric car track. This is a 100% real flower garden newly created by Lingshan, with winding paths leading to a secluded garden full of Zen.
📸Punch card tips: The event starts from March 8th and continues until after May Day. It is recommended to wear clothes with low saturation such as white or light blue. After entering the park in the morning, wait for the Nine Dragons Bathing performance, and the light is better when you punch the card along the way.
✅ Nine Dragons Bathing
This time I came to Lingshan just in time for the flower offering event for ten thousand people on March 3rd. Tourists can get red carnations for free, recite the prayer text under the guidance of the master, offer fresh flowers, and pray for health and peace. After the ceremony, watch the Nine Dragons Bathing, accompanied by soothing music🎵, the bronze lotus🪷 slowly opens, and the Buddha appears when the flower blooms. The nine dragon mouths spray water columns tens of meters high to bathe the Prince Buddha statue.
👉There are multiple performances every day, and the specific performance time needs to pay attention to the announcements of the scenic spot.
✅Lingshan Grand Buddha
The 88-meter-high Lingshan Grand Buddha smiles with compassion, watching all beings. Make a wish in front of the Grand Buddha for a peaceful and smooth year.
✅Brahma Palace
There are multiple live performances of 'Auspicious Ode' every day, traveling through time and space to see the story of Sakyamuni's enlightenment from a prince after hardships. Remember to book the show after entering the park and arrange the time reasonably.
✅Wuyin Altar City
The peach blossoms around the lake here are in full bloom, don't miss this Jiangnan's little Tibet where you can walk through the peach blossom luck🌸. There is also the nearby Manlong Fei Tower, which also has great photo effects.
There is also the spring art market that is not limited to time, with dance performances, intangible cultural heritage handicrafts, and special food waiting for you to discover! My favorite is the 'Lingshan Bell🔔', which takes the spirit of Lingshan, and all wishes can be realized!🌸🌼🌺🌻🌷🌹🌺🌸
Overjoyed at Wuxi Trip.
My first visit to Wuxi was a direct drive of about 2 hours by a friend's car🚗
First, we went to the luxurious service area - Yangcheng Lake Service Area; it's like a small shopping mall with everything to eat and buy, and the decoration is also nice, a good place to rest and check in.
The first stop was the Lingshan Giant Buddha. The weather wasn't great today, with light rain and a bit of haze, so the photos didn't turn out as well, but the solemnity and grandeur of the giant Buddha were still visible; along with several distinctive buildings nearby.
The second stop was the Mei Garden, which was the mansion of the Rong family, a major merchant in the 19th century. It happened to be mid-March when various flowers🌸 were just blooming, very beautiful😍
Finally, I tried some authentic Wuxi dishes with my friend before heading back to Shanghai.
An explore day in Lingshan Giant Buddha
As a foreigner you can easily visit this place but yourself. Bought ticket from the app by simply scanned the QR code in front of the entrance gate (the price is 210¥ whe I visited). The area is quite big, if you don’t have much time or not really into walking, suggest to buy the VIP electric car ticket (also in front of the entrance gate) it’s cost 40¥ and you can asked the driver to bring you to anywhere in the area. Some of the drivers can speak English. Inside of every spot have vegetarian buddhist restaurant, the meals is delicious and muslim friendly #muslim #muslimfriendly #solotravel #solofemaletraveller

The Lingshan Grand Buddha, sincerity makes it spiritual
The Lingshan Grand Buddha stands quietly in the wind, and the misty clouds make it more mysterious and leisurely, as if it is enlightening people to pursue inner peace and wisdom.
Rushing to the foot of the Lingshan Buddha
📍The best scenic spot of the year—Lingshan Buddha‼️
✅I fell in love with the treasure spot of Wuxi—Lingshan Scenic Area. This place has become the best scenic spot of the year in my mind, with almost perfect experience💯
✅Before entering the scenic area, I saw the solemn Lingshan Buddha standing tall in the distance. Walking to the foot of the Buddha is not far, it seems that Buddha is very considerate of my semi-lame left leg, good indeed.
✅After climbing up to the lotus platform, I really felt a super big cold wind fanning towards me, suspecting🤨 it was urging me to hurry up and finish watching, don't dawdle. But the feeling of looking down at all the mountains under the Buddha's feet is super great!!!
✅By the way, there are many people in the scenic area who come to offer incense, the incense is very strong, and it also smells good, I even deliberately went to the front of the strong incense burner to smell the incense, this is the best way to keep warm in winter second only to eating hot pot.
✅In addition, the Fan Palace in the scenic area is particularly large and luxurious, and the Five Seal Altar City is my favorite palace, because it introduces a lot of Tibetan Buddhism history, culture, characteristics and various Buddhist murals and sculptures that I am interested in!!!
✅Lingshan Scenic Area will definitely not be my last visit, in a few years, I will definitely come again! I really like it very much🩷

The Lingshan Grand Buddha
The Lingshan Grand Buddha is located at No. 1 Lingshan Road, Mashan Town, Binhu District, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province. The Grand Buddha faces Taihu Lake to the south, backs Lingshan Mountain, and is flanked by Qinglong (Mountain) on the left and Baihu (Mountain) on the right. On November 15, 1997, the Grand Buddha was completed and opened to the public. It stands 88 meters tall, 17 meters taller than the 'Mountain is a Buddha, Buddha is a Mountain' Leshan Grand Buddha in Sichuan, making it the second tallest giant Buddha statue in China; including the three-layer base, it is 101.5 meters tall in total. The Lingshan Grand Buddha statue consumed a total of 725 tons of copper, and the Buddha body was assembled and welded from 2000 cast copper wall panels. The Lingshan Grand Buddha was built according to the Buddhist 'Five Directions Five Buddhas' belief system. The image of the Grand Buddha is solemn and beautiful, designed by Zhao Puchu, the former president of the Buddhist Association of China, strictly according to the '32 forms' of the Buddha's body recorded in the Buddhist scriptures. The Buddha has a kind face and a wide view of all beings, and his words are heard before he speaks. The Grand Buddha has a kind smile, a wide view of all beings, and his left hand is making the 'Wish Granting Mudra', representing the giving of happiness, all of which are signs of blessing. The mark on his chest represents the solemnity of all virtues. The entire Buddha statue is perfect, serene, dignified and detailed, showing the Dharma appearance of Buddha's compassion.
