#Polynesian Cultural Center Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Fun at the Polynesian Cultural Centre
Getting There - transportation is available if booking online a head of time. Otherwise it is about and hour and a half drive on Highway 1 from Waikiki.
Attractions - the cultural centre is made up on different “lands”. Each featuring information and demonstrations on a range of items from food to clothing to dance or ceremonial tradition for the islands found in Polynesia. All shows and demonstrations are free once you have purchased your entry ticket. and if your lucky there will be taste test available at the cooking demonstrations.
Food & Restaurants - there are lots of options to choose from depending on the ticket you purchase. There is a luau package or a buffet package. We went for the buffet package and the food was amazing. If you prefer not to select a dining package they also have a number of food trucks and eateries at the front of the centre.
Shopping - gift shops, gift shops and more gift shops. Everything from ukuleles to T-shirt to jewellery and more.

If you are interested in the culture of Hawaiian Islands/ Bohemia, don't miss this cultural center. Strongly recommend MANA performance. It is similar to Yunnan province. You can also take canoe to enjoy traditional culture and local customs of aborigines in seven islands.

Polynesian experience tour
Now the fashionable "experience tour", staying at a treetop hotel is a hotel experience; eating a Michelin is a gourmet experience.
The Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawaii is part of the "Theme Experience" type, where you can travel through seven indigenous tribes to watch or participate in the vivid and interesting cultural and artistic life experience of the "Multi-island Islands".
You may be able to go to the New Zealand tribe to receive a welcome ritual from the Maori people;
You may reach out to the slow-paced dance of Hawaii under the acacia tree;
You can also go to the stage with Tonga ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; With a tattoo of Samoa on his face, he sat in a canoe in the brilliant sunset to eat the sumptuous LUAU "Luo" dinner.

Hawaii native art and culture
Here at the US Polynesian Cultura Centre, we got to learn about the history, art and culture of the Polynesians, super cool! They helped us draw temporary tattoos with their tribal symbols on our forearms and performed their native dances for the audiences. What an eye-opening and educational experience.
My overall rating of the experience: 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

In the Polynesian Cultural Center, there are a variety of activities with ethnic characteristics that attract visitors. In the village of Tonga, the graceful and shawl girl performs the whole process of making mulberry clothing; in the Hawaiian village, women with Hawaiian garlands on their necks, sew clothes, fabricate fabrics, and display their own handicrafts; Samoa Village Among them, young men with strong physique and light manners perform the skills of climbing coconut trees and picking coconuts. Some Polynesians played traditional music on the islands and introduced their own national musical instruments. Some girls held garlands, danced, and marched along the river by boat. The boys in the same boat were wearing knives and playing the island leaders. Their heroic style. During the day, visitors can gather in the shade of the trees, while enjoying the traditional food of the local flavor, while enjoying the local artists playing the new and delightful Hawaiian guitar music, please ask the Polynesian girl to sing a love song that turns people. Visitors can also wear a grass skirt, learn the Tasiri dance of the Tasiti people, dance the sultry hula dance, or make a Tonga-style sunhat under the guidance of experts.
The night culture center ignited a bonfire and held a grand Polynesian song and dance party. The songs and dances have strong national characteristics from content to form. Many programs reflect the industrious and courageous quality of the people of the Pacific islands. Rich. The program uses modern stage facilities and techniques such as laser and three-dimensional scenery. Sometimes the waterfall falls, and sometimes the volcano erupts, and the lighting effects vary greatly, which greatly enriches the performance of the song and dance.
