Porto: the city of art
Porto Cathedral is a beautiful example of Romanesque architecture, featuring an impressive facade and detailed interior. It's a must-visit landmark in Porto that provides insight into Portugal's rich history.
The Cathedral's location on a hillside offers panoramic views of the city and the douro revier, adding to its appeal. Inside, visitors can admire stunning stained glass windows and altars that showcase the craftsmanship of the era. #porto #mytravelhacks #historicallandmarks
Porto cathedral 🇵🇹

Porto cathedral is one of the iconic place located in photo centre area. This is a Roman Catholic Church and already existed in 13th century. Inside of the building is awesome with the beautiful golden materials and the shape is well-structured. Moreover, I also saw some gorgeous blue painting on the wall and it made the church become more unique and special. During the time I have been that place, the church is less people and quiet. I recommend going at around 4pm and it will be less crowded.

Porto Cathedral is located in Terreiro da Se, 4050-573 Porto, and is opened daily from 0900-1730. A 6 minute 350 meters walk from Sao Bento metro station.
Porto Cathedral is one of the city's oldest Romanesque monuments, perching on a hilltop standing watch over the city. It was originally built between the 12th and 13th centuries.
It's flanked by twin towers, a rather plain stone facade, but inside, you will find a beautiful stained glass rose window, a collection of centuries old sculptures and a silver altarpiece.
Facing the cathedral, a large Baroque pillory which symbolizes justice, stands in the center of the square.
The church is located in the heights of the old city, so the square in front of the door overlooks the old city. It is only in this angle that Porto is not colored, it is brick red.
Compared to some other churches, the church in Porto is absolutely low-key in the low-key, long time and the style of the Romanesque architecture itself, so it is not as amazing as the churches of other famous countries.
At first glance, this church is not good, but such a church is in line with the current state of Portugal.
At the door of the Cathedral of Porto, a huge seagull walks arrogantly.
A lot of people are looking at it with a far-sighted and unplayable attitude. If they want to be close and scared to run this photo prop, they will be closer.
Then this seagull really took himself as a net red, and pacing back and forth, it seems very arrogant, it is not easy to capture it~
