Tham Chang Cave
#gooutside
Vang Vieng is such an awesome town with plenty of adventurous activities to keep you busy. There is also some incredible nature sightseeing. Than Chag Cave is also in the list.
How to get to Tham Jang or Chang Cave:
Heading to Vang vieng Resort and then crossing the Nam Song river by the Sturdy suspension bridge, then climbing over 150 steps to the cave.
The cave is amazing, it had spreaded over 2 levels with several separate chambers. It is large and beautiful Karst in a different colors. Once you are in the cave, there are one of a good view point where you could look over the fantastic views of rice fields and Song rivers.
It is suitable for family with Young kid or a group of friends who love to hangout side

Exploring the gorgeous Tham Jang
Tham Jang is one of Vang Vieng's most well-known caverns, having played a significant role in Laos' history. When the Chinese conquered Vang Vieng in the 19th century, this cave served as an army bunker, so history aficionados should make a point of visiting it. You will have to trek up a steep set of steps to enter the cave, but it is well worth the extra effort. To be honest, upon visiting this beautiful cave my perspective changed. It was very memorable. Wait, there is also a river where you can splurge, it’s Crystal clear!

Not too impressive because we have seen the best of them in other countries. This is has a big carven inside and with lights. Told that villagers had hidden in this cave b4
This a long steep steps to the entrance. You pay to get onto a "resort" to cross the bridge to the cave entrance and pay again to get into the cave!! #wintergetaway

Today's Wanrong weather is great! The frangipani is the national flower of Laos. It is better to go to Tanjiang Cave and walk around. It may not look as good as Yangshuo. It lacks the colorful artificial lights, but I prefer this original style. There are several Buddha statues in the cave. Unfortunately, I didnt go to the Thousand Buddha Cave in Luang Prabang this time~ I will have the chance to try the long tail boat again next time!
