The hotel environment is great, and the room amenities are very complete. They even provide disposable toiletries and a separate wet/dry bathroom, which is a thoughtful touch – they even have conditioner! That's really attentive. Plus, it's super close to West Lake, just a few minutes' walk, and the scenery there is beautiful. The service attitude is also incredibly warm; any issues were resolved quickly and efficiently. If I come to Hangzhou again, I'll definitely choose to stay here.

The room was ridiculously small, barely enough space to walk around once my luggage was in. It was freezing cold, and while the air conditioning did warm it up, it blew directly on me, drying out my skin. The disposable slippers were very 'Wuzhen-style' (a local, perhaps basic, feel). The guesthouse has a ton of rooms, and they all seem to be a bit different, so getting a specific one is purely luck of the draw. However, if you book multiple rooms and want them in the same guesthouse, you need to book them under one guest's name. I didn't manage to get the early morning tea slot for breakfast, so I booked for 7:30 AM but didn't actually eat until 7:45 AM. The breakfast itself was pretty good though. I deliberated for a long time before booking, as the guesthouse plus ticket price was actually similar to a hotel. I ended up choosing the guesthouse, but it was really noisy at night – laughter from passersby and the sound of residents closing their doors. It was quite loud in the quiet evening, no wonder they provide earplugs. If you're a light sleeper, be cautious. Wuzhen is beautiful, and the main scenic area lobby and some official services are great. But once you get to the individual guesthouse owners, the quality varies significantly. You just have to experience it for yourself.

The room was great, and it was super convenient for my layover. I landed and checked in seamlessly. Breakfast was quite generous, and Xiao Rong even upgraded me to a runway view room. I could watch planes take off and land right from my bed. I'll definitely stay here again next time I have a layover.

This isn't an ad, just a genuine recommendation! You can eat till you're stuffed for free every day at the hotel, and shopping and dining nearby are also super convenient! The service is excellent! There's 24/7 customer service available for any issues you might have! I love the free roasted sweet potatoes.

The room was very clean, and the service was great. The hotel's location is also super convenient. To the left is Intime, and to the right is Qinghefang. Traveling with friends, it was easy to get anywhere nearby. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel offered a day trip to nearby attractions, which was excellent! We visited West Lake, Lingyin Temple, the First God of Wealth Temple, a tea plantation, and Qinghefang. Hangzhou East Railway Station is also very close, so we even squeezed in a quick trip to Shanghai.

While the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it offered a balanced mix of meat and vegetables, with hot dishes, porridge, and pastries all available, and it tasted deliciously home-style. Even during check-out, the staff were very thoughtful. The entire stay was incredibly smooth, and it offered great value for money. Next time I visit this city, I will definitely choose this hotel again!

If you're coming to Shaoxing, you *must* stay at the Shaoxing Hotel at least once! **Ambiance**: As Shaoxing's traditional state guesthouse, it's beautiful and grand, a tranquil oasis tucked away at a bustling street corner. From the moment you drive into the hotel lobby, there's just one feeling – this money was well spent. **Facilities**: We booked a loft in Building 8, which is perfect for traveling with parents. Three adults in one family don't need to book two rooms; you can be together while still maintaining relatively independent spaces. The independent bathroom upstairs was a pleasant surprise. **Parking**: Although the hotel is large, there's ample parking, thoughtfully accommodating the needs of each building. Both ground-level and underground parking are available in front of Building 8, complete with charging piles. You can park your car and take the elevator directly upstairs, completely avoiding the hassle of dragging luggage through the massive hotel. **Service**: It boasts the kind of service you'd expect from a five-star hotel. From the moment our car pulled up to the lobby, someone was there to guide us, help with luggage, and assist with check-in. The shuttle bus continuously transports guests between the various buildings, which is very convenient. Especially in the morning, as soon as you step downstairs, there are staff members directing you to the breakfast area, and the shuttle bus is already waiting. In short, any time I felt the need for service, it was readily provided – excellent! **Breakfast**: I *must* commend the breakfast! In an era where pre-made dishes are everywhere, it's truly rare to find such a rich and varied breakfast that clearly isn't pre-made! Many specialty pastries are being freshly prepared by chefs right before your eyes. The 68 RMB per person buffet breakfast is highly recommended! Also, during holidays, it can get crowded, but several hotel managers were on-site, guiding guests to tables, instructing servers to clear tables promptly, and responding to various customer requests. I haven't seen this level of service in a long time; it felt very reassuring and comfortable. **Final Thoughts**: In recent years, while my parents are still active, I've been taking them to explore different cities across the country. Along the way, I've had disappointing experiences at various so-called ”old-brand five-star” hotels, which made me distrustful of five-star establishments, preferring instead to choose Huazhu or Atour. This time, our New Year's Day trip was primarily for leisure, and we chose Shaoxing Hotel because we wanted a loft-style room. It turned out to be the highlight of our entire trip. The hotel's配套 seasonal Cantonese restaurant is also delicious and equally recommended!

The service is exceptional; they contacted us in advance, provided a free room upgrade, offered shuttle service to and from the parking lot, and waived the parking fee. Makabaka was also very thoughtful and attentive, giving us guidance on touring the scenic area. Overall, we felt very much at home, and I'd definitely recommend it to friends.

Firstly, the location of the hotel is fantastic! The MRT station is just outside the hotel and the hotel is walking distance to wulin night market and west lake! In addition, the hotel provides transportation service to tour west lake and to Suzhou/Shanghai. Housekeeping is also done daily. Breakfast is really a good spread! Service from the staffs were great too! A few down side is that the wifi in the room is super bad. I had 4 rooms booked together and the wifi in all rooms were bad. Called front desk to assist but was still not fixed. Washer pressure from shower isnt fantastic and the temperature of the water is not easy to adjust (slight tilt and its either too hot or too cold).
