Hotels With parking in Okayama Prefecture, Japan

The staff I came came across were all very polite and had welcoming smiles, no matter at the reception desk or the restaurant on 20/F. I enjoyed my stay here, but it felt comparable to the 3 star hotels, just slightly better especially thanks to the fabulous breakfast and location of breakfast…If hotels have half stars, i would think it’s’more of a 3.5 star hotel instead of a 4. I have a few suggestions which the hotel can look into to improve in the future. 3 Things to improve on: 1) I picked this hotel because I read other reviews saying the hotel is connected to a bridge from the Okayama station. This is true but unfortunately there were no signs in the station to guide travellers unlike another hotel like Granvia. Google suggested that I look for the west exit which I did, but I ended up being at the ground level hence had to bring big suitcase all the stairs…then I spotted the bridge and ANA crowne plaza from the street 2) cleanliness can be improved. There’s a UCC drip coffee machine in the room. I don’t drink coffee, and the box for the drip coffee selection was refilled. However I spotted a used capsule on the floor near the wall. The bin was not blocking the view, so the cleaners could’ve easily spotted the rubbish if they had been a little more careful and looked under the table when they have to clear out the rubbish bin anyway. 3) I sent a message to the hotel via TRIP.com. The message wasn’t replied promptly, as in within a few hours. Ultimately it didn’t matter anymore, I arrived at the hotel before somebody managed to reply me. Maybe it’s the system that’s problematic which may have caused a lag? Or staff only look at mails/messages when not too busy at the front desk?

Family comes with 4 beds (instead of 2 as indicated in trip.com description). Room is pretty spacious, bed is a bit hard and bathroom is a bit narrow, but overall still comfortable. Location is good, walking distance to JR stations, Aeon with good varieties of food at the food court. Near to big camera, animate, donki and lots of shopping options at Aeon too. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Kaze Box. The house is spotless, cosy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen has an induction stove, pots, pans, and other essentials for anyone who enjoys cooking. There’s also a washing machine and dryer, which were incredibly convenient, especially for a longer stay. The layout is perfect, with a comfortable living and dining area on the ground floor and two cosy bedrooms upstairs. One thoughtful touch we really appreciated was the charging ports provided in every room. If you’re travelling with children, you’ll love the collection of books and toys that help keep the little ones entertained. Parking couldn’t be more convenient, with a dedicated space located right outside the house. The location is excellent too. Happy and Halows supermarkets are only about a 5-minute drive away, and there’s a 7-Eleven just a 5-minute walk from the property, making it easy to pick up groceries or snacks at any time. The owner has clearly put a lot of thought into making guests feel welcome and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped place to stay.

We are a family travelling with 3 kids so we drive a car, and factored in luggage space. 1) Vessel hotel has hands-down one of the best beds ever! We checked and realised it was a Simmons mattress so the beds really offered us deep & restful sleep!! Love this! 2) The carpark was right outside the hotel so it was super convenient not having to walk up & down diff storeys to take things from car. We returned to hotel ard 10pm on 1 night & there were no more parking lots! We’d have to park at a multi-storey building that was 12mins walk away, which wld have been v convenient. 3) The breakfast was yummy. We went in summer & enjoyed the Barazushi (Okayama special during festivals) & the rice was sweet, salty, flavourful, and delicious with prawn, eggs, eel, lotus roots (see pic). Really yummy! Try it 4) Hotel staff were very helpful! We asked for an extra luggage stand so we wldnt need to bend too low & they brought it immediately. 5) There’s a big supermarket just across the road with cheap groceries that we stocked up on for our road trip. 6) If you intend to drive, this is a highly recommend hotel in Kurashiki!! Wld stay here again! It was great!

We needed parking for this road trip, and although the hotel had some, spaces were limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Luckily, the hotel staff provided very detailed parking information for the surrounding area, which was a huge help! (A staff member with a leg injury explained it to us very carefully.) They also have a promotion every day from 6 PM to 8 PM where you can enjoy a soft drink (they also have alcohol), so don't miss it!

Via Inn Okayama was our 6th hotel on this journey, and its location honestly couldn’t have been better. Being directly connected to Okayama Station made everything very convenient — from getting around to grabbing daily necessities. There were even some supermarkets inside the station, which were super handy. The lobby was on the 5th floor and already set the mood, with an amazing view overlooking the station and the city. Our room was simple and comfortable, featuring a small double bed, a desk by the window, a chair, an air purifier, and a fairly new TV with YouTube and Netflix access — perfect for relaxing after a long day. Space was a little tight when we opened our luggage, but it wasn’t a big issue. Even though the bathroom wasn’t very spacious, it still provided enough room to sit comfortably on the toilet, which we appreciated. The real highlight was the view — an unblocked cityscape right from the room that made both mornings and nights extra special. Convenient, comfortable, and memorable — Via Inn Okayama was a great stay right in the heart of the city.

I really love the location as it’s next to the Uno port, easy with my two luggages after I traveled the islands. I love the onsen with very good restaurants and massage inside!! 🥰🍱 After onsen and dinner, I still can see stars ✨ and the big moon 🌙 artwork in front of the closed gallery aisle, walking back to hotel! I wrongly booked the shared dorm but it’s surprisingly neat, clean, spacious and friendly with all amenity plus the open-bar of different tea!! Loving it!! 🥰 The breakfast is at the dinner restaurant, the set is in very nice in design!! Next time I would try to stay in the room with open patio or camping next door!! The tourist centre and train station are just next door, or I can just rent a bike to browse around for udon and coffee ☕️…. I’d see more galleries and islands when staying in Uno port next time, after I get bored with staying in Takamatsu port! Highly recommend this hotel when traveling with family and friends!! 🥰❤️🙌🏻love!!

This was my first time in Okayama, and I chose this hotel. They offer free breakfast and dinner. The breakfast is a buffet with both Western and Japanese options, so you can choose what you like. For dinner, there are two choices: a rotating daily set meal or a fixed curry rice dish. The public bath is a bit small, but it's fine for about four or five people. The hotel is about an eight-minute walk from Okayama Station. There's a Don Quijote along the way, and plenty of restaurants and izakayas nearby, so there are lots of dining options. Convenience stores are also very close. The room I stayed in this time was quite spacious, even with my luggage open, there was still plenty of room. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Okayama. The only thing to be aware of is that there are about five or six steps right after you enter, which can be a bit challenging if you have heavy luggage. Otherwise, everything else was excellent.

The location is nice. Although, I got a smaller room than I saw in the pictures, I couldn’t stand up straight because the roof was so low. Also, there was a short went to another room and I had to craft a curtain because the light from the other room shined straight on my face and you can’t sleep the other way around because there’s not enough room. Furthermore, even though I left my keys for the cleaners, they just left the clean towels and sheets outside my room and told me to do it and the key was left in my door. But the showers and toilets was nice and you have privacy which is nice.
