This is our second stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, less than a 10-minute walk from the subway station, right behind the Shinsaibashi Ferris Wheel, so it's super easy to find. We were two adults and one child, and booked a triple room. The room was genuinely tiny, so small it was hard to even open our luggage, but it had everything we needed. They provide three bottles of water daily, and there's a free ice machine available. The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was very Japanese; it wasn't really to our taste, but it was enough to tide us over.

Great value for money! The hotel is really close to Nagahoribashi subway station, and there's a huge drugstore nearby with a wide variety of products. Plus, if you follow their official WeChat account, you get extra discounts. The room was clean, tidy, and quite spacious, with all the facilities you could need. The staff were friendly and welcoming!

Hotel Nikko definitely deserves a great review from me! The overall quality control, service responsiveness, and efficiency are all excellent. For the price, it's incredibly good value for money in Osaka. The hotel itself is very spacious, and it's just a short walk to Daimaru department store. On the day I checked in, there was a minor issue with the curtains. I reported it to the front desk, and they promptly sent someone to fix it at the agreed-upon time, which was a nice touch! The only slight drawback was that the lobby baggage attendant wasn't very smiling, but everything else was fantastic!

Size is pretty good for the location. You still can open your luggage and store them under the bed. There’s a bus stop 200m from the hotel that has direct service to Kansai International Airport. 5mins walking to Dotonburi, Family Mart, Lawson and 7Eleven at your doorstep. Highly recommended

The best decision I made on this Osaka trip was staying at this hotel run by a Chinese owner! The owner's warmth truly added so much comfort to our international travels, completely eliminating any feeling of unfamiliarity or communication barriers. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for shopping in Shinsaibashi and Namba. There are plenty of convenience stores and eateries nearby, so finding food and getting around is effortless. The room was quite spacious for a Japanese hotel, clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The bathroom, with its separate wet and dry areas, was very comfortable to use, and we could even fully open our suitcases, making our stay very relaxed. What touched me most was the owner's thoughtfulness. Before we even checked in, they provided detailed directions from the airport to the hotel, explaining every transfer clearly. During our stay, whether we asked about sightseeing tips or transportation, they patiently answered all our questions and even shared hidden local food gems that only locals would know. We checked out when we needed to leave.

The hotel is located in the business district, just a short walk from the subway station. I did my research beforehand, so I knew that check-in was upstairs. There are plenty of restaurant choices nearby, and some famous local ramen places have a much better ambiance than those in Shinsaibashi. The only drawback is that the room was a bit small, but it was clean and the soundproofing was decent.

The hotel room was quite spacious for Japanese standards, and it was a convenient walk to the subway station. The TV in the room wasn't directly facing the bed, but rather the sofa side. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and I'd recommend it for travelers. The cleanliness was excellent, and both check-in and check-out were very smooth. They even deliver all your luggage to your room, so the service is fantastic.

The location is great, not far from the subway station and right next to a gas station. The service was pretty good. Even though my room was close to the elevator, I didn't hear any noise at all. One of the pillows had a strong smell, so I'd recommend changing the pillowcase. There's a convenience store and a Matsuya (Japanese fast-food chain) nearby. Getting to Universal Studios should be quick, though I personally got lost in Umeda for half an hour, and everyone I asked gave me different directions...

Value and Booking: We secured an excellent promotional rate by booking approximately one month in advance, making this our most cost-effective accommodation in Japan. The average daily cost was approximately $100 AUD (or $65 USD), representing superb value for money. Accommodation (Standard Double Room Non-Smoking): Space Constraint - The room size is extremely compact. Guests traveling with two large suitcases will find the floor space severely limited, which can impede movement and even obstruct the bathroom door access. Bathroom Configuration - The unitized bathroom/toilet is notably small, reminiscent of an airplane lavatory configuration. While clean, this is a unique space constraint that future guests should be aware of. Cleanliness and Maintenance - The room was clean and well-maintained overall. However, we did observe minor signs of wear, specifically light mildew/molding on the window seals and in some room corners, which could be addressed. Pest Control - We were relieved to find no evidence of bed bugs during our stay, despite hearing general reports of issues in other cities in Japan (like Osaka). Service and Guest Experience: The hotel service was outstanding. We were traveling with a two-year-old child and requested an early check-in to accommodate a mid-day nap. The hotel staff were highly accommodating and facilitated an early entry, which significantly improved our experience and is greatly appreciated. Target Audience Note: As the name suggests, the hotel seems to cater primarily to business travelers over leisure guests, which may influence certain expectations regarding room functionality versus amenities.

ZZouzou..The room type was fantastic! My child slept in the middle, and the view was great. I stayed here once 8 years ago, and the room facilities are still very new, not outdated at all. My child loved looking out at the scenery from the windowsill, and at night, we enjoyed watching the clouds from bed.

MM49235****The hotel shares facilities with Spa World. When I visited, it was decorated for Christmas. The room itself was decent, but they don't provide slippers, which was a bit inconvenient. For dining, you can eat at the large cafeteria on the third floor of Spa World or at one of their other restaurants. There's a good variety of choices, and the prices are reasonable.

ZZuiwoyuemingzhongOur last night on our Osaka/Kyoto trip, with a 9 AM flight the next morning, we decided to stay in Rinku Town to avoid an early start. Choosing Odysis Suites Hotel turned out to be an excellent decision! It truly is a suite, and I think we even got the smallest room type. Can you believe getting a suite in a major Japanese city for just a few hundred yuan? The hotel is right next to the outlets and a supermarket, which is super convenient. The ocean view was lovely, though the weather wasn't ideal. I'd definitely love to stay here again if I get the chance. 😊

GGuest UserThis hotel is my top recommendation for a layover in Osaka. It's just one stop from the airport, and the subway station is right outside. Plus, they offer convenient self-service luggage storage. The nearby city park is great for a relaxing stroll, and you can walk to Rinku Premium Outlets in about ten minutes for some shopping.

CChocoAlisonThe location is very convenient, with JR lines directly to the airport and Expo, Osaka Loop Line and Midosuji Line directly to the city center. There is a large 7-11 and a Café de Cabrera downstairs. A five-minute walk will take you to a super large Life supermarket, which sells sashimi, bento, and cooked food. For breakfast, there are a variety of packaged breads, rice balls, drinks and soups, as well as yogurt pudding and yogurt, but you have to go early, as there will be no choice after 8:30. You can take your breakfast back to your room and eat it without taking it out of the hotel. Free umbrellas are provided when it rains. There is no bottled water in the room, only a kettle. Ice can be picked up on the 8th floor. There is coffee and tea bags available for pick-up in the lobby. The hotel only provides shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, and skin care product samples need to be purchased for 500 yen. The hygiene is very good. The auntie cleans the room very carefully. She will put everything away and put it back in place, and help fold clothes. There is only one chair in the 4-person room, it would be better if there were one or two more chairs. After 10pm, you need to swipe your room card to enter the hotel, which is quite safe.

TThe-AltitudeThis hotel boasts an excellent location, directly accessible from the second-floor exit of Rinku Town. The rooms are spacious, and the service is top-notch. There's a convenient store right downstairs, and self check-in/check-out is available. You can also become a member for late check-out benefits. Plus, they offer a complimentary shuttle service to Airport Terminal 1. Overall, highly recommended!

CChuanxiaofudehonglingjinFor my trip to Japan, I bought a 1.5-day Universal Studios ticket, so I booked two nights at this hotel! It's located just 180 meters from the main entrance of Universal Studios, which is a prime location. Also, thanks to my government's restrictions on officials traveling to Japan, we non-government personnel were able to book such a luxurious hotel (a 27 sqm room, which is practically a mansion in Japan, haha!) for just over 500 RMB, even during the popular autumn leaf season. I hope my government further intensifies sanctions on Japan, so we non-government personnel can plan our next trip there! Much appreciated!
