Good location. Enough sympathy. Small room. Limited parking. No large common spaces, although with a pleasant living room, without TV. Breakfast with the most important things, without exaggeration, in a pleasant room.
Easily the best hotel I’ve stayed in Portugal. Super central in the historic center, the main street is just a few meters away.
The hotel itself is so amazing! Very clean, super fast wifi, great rain shower with very good pressure, spacious toilet & shower area, comfortable beds. All incredibly good amenities.
My visit to my most favorite small town in Portugal was complemented with my stay in my most favorite hotel in Portugal. Wish I had stayed longer!
The hotel is impressive when you get between green, parking and hall with columns and beautiful floors. Then you arrive at the check-in bank and you see one of the operator's seats is all broken. You go into the bar and restaurant area and see the beautiful floor of the hall disappears because everything covered with moquettes that are partly no longer sticking to the floor but doing folds where you risk to burn. Go get the lift to get into the room and the corridors “welcome” you with a “spleasant flat smell” because you mock around, walls with wooden/plastic wall paper and the rest of wood. I smell very intense of everything. Enter your room and it is half of what you had booked.
I ask for explanations at the room reception and the state of the cleaning and they tell me they had no rooms like that I had booked, but they offer me the opportunity to change the room. I see the second very big but with a ”closed” smell even more persistent than 1. I see the 3 smaller as the 1 but with a less persistent smell. I keep this. Very comfortable bed but dirty balcony like 1 on the ground and the bathroom window, ceiling and walls. The bathroom window, the door of the bathroom with broken handle, a shower that skizzed everywhere, a bidet rubin to be fixed, a “black” bathroom see photos. The building was built in 2 minutes, 1 in 1967. Maybe it would need a deep restructuring or at least maintenance and cleaning. Breakfast in the average but with little range for 1 hotel with 4 stars. I add some photos to make a idea. Hotel that “has 4 stars” name but ...
Response during check-in , fast and efficient despite not having informed which Wi-Fi password.
Simple but satisfactory room for this purpose, despite the air conditioner has no command to allow temperature control and /ou other functions (in times running is unacceptable).
The breakfast was the best of the stay .... very good.
I left the room card on the balcony and I went out.
I don't want to return ......
A very charming hotel, the officials of an extreme sympathy, very lovely, worried and attentive. The cleaning was impeccable from the rooms, to the garden and the pool and jacuzzi area. The charm and glamour decoration of the grandmothers is also a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast and restaurant are very tasty. We love the weekend.Ideal for any kind of romantic or family stay.
Apesar disso, recomendo!.
Obrigada.
The rooms are clean and the breakfast was surprisingly excellent. There is no tea or coffee in the room but all other basics are available. Perfect for a short stay in that area that’s very reasonably priced

Very Good
GGuest UserI booked only one night, at the last hour, so the view wasn't the best, the calefactor never really worked, it was more noisy than normal. The bed was not confortable. The place was spotless and the service was OK,
GGuest UserGreat location and a very welcoming building that has maintained its original design, which adds to its value.
The welcome and service are excellent, as well as the availability and flexibility to resolve guests' issues.
Regarding cleanliness, the place seemed impeccable. The breakfast was varied and of high quality.
I will definitely return to this hotel next time.
Best regards,
José Paulo Ferreira (Porto)
TTanglaoshiroyThis hotel is right next to the new church and echoes the old church square. It only takes five minutes to walk to the tourist attraction. You can go back to the hotel to rest at any time. There are many restaurants near the hotel. The local Portuguese food is very delicious. It is a very rare experience.
GGuest UserThis hotel was lovely. The rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable. Everything was super clean. They have a chapel for meditation, it is a Catholic hotel. Gift shop included in the hotel, also very easy access to high quality candles for the candle procession at the shrine (1€ each). Loads of parking available.
Small downside was the sub-optimal breakfast selection, at least in comparison to other hotels of the same trip. I still ate plenty.

GGuest UserMy family and I stayed at rhis hotel in February. The staff were all very kind, had good choice of breakfast items, could relax in the evening at the bar, with comfortable armchairs and settees.
Great environment.
Easy to reach from the Shrine in Fatima
Large and clean rooms
Conveniently located. My mum is an elderly woman of 85 years old and it was easy for her to walk about.
Ttt747This is the four-star hotel closest to the Fatima Sanctuary. The family room was functional and very comfortable. The shampoo and soap were from a company in Porto, which I liked so much that I went out to buy some when I arrived in Porto, as this was my next destination.
The staff were also kind and polite, and helped me in many ways.
I would like to stay at this hotel again if I come to Fatima again.
