Our recent stay at this hotel was fantastic! I have to give a special shout-out to Ginny at the front desk – her warm smile and proactive offer of assistance during check-in immediately made us feel welcome.
After getting to the room, it felt a bit stuffy, and I noticed the window wasn't opening smoothly when I tried to air it out. I contacted the front desk to explain, and Ginny responded instantly. She promptly coordinated with the engineering team to come and inspect it, and she followed up continuously until the issue was completely resolved. Throughout the process, her attitude was incredibly patient and enthusiastic, with no hint of perfunctoriness; you could truly feel that she genuinely cared about the guests.
This kind of detailed and proactive service really puts your mind at ease. If all hotel staff were as attentive as Ginny, the guest experience would be so much better. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in the area, and I highly recommend it to everyone! 👍

The hotel's location is super convenient for catching flights; you can get to boarding in 10 minutes without even going outside. The room facilities are great, and the room itself is very clean and tidy. The mattress is incredibly soft. The guest services center provided excellent and thoughtful service.
Small suggestions: The bathroom drain was a bit slow, and I had to ask the front desk for earplugs and a toiletries kit.

Because the price is cheap, there is no hope for the hotel, and the result is a surprise. First of all, when I first left the hotel, I called to ask when the time was coming, and sent it to the accurate positioning. As soon as I arrived at the front desk, I came out to arrange parking. The hotel decoration is very new and very clean. A few minutes away from the ancient city, The restaurant recommended by the front desk was delicious, and I went to eat breakfast the next day. The room was small and smart, very convenient. The next day we gave us a late check-out and sent pancakes and water. I was really touched. Special thanks to the two beautiful front desks. Very recommended! ! !

As everyone knows, hotels in Daqingyan never receive bad reviews in winter, and this one is no exception.
**Service:** Impeccable. Housekeeping was incredibly responsive to all requests. When I called the front desk to ask about the location and usage of in-room facilities, they were able to provide clear and immediate answers, which many high-end hotels can't do (they usually have to check the room first). This deserves praise; truly a testament to the staff quality of a five-star hotel.
**Facilities:** A pleasant surprise. I was generously upgraded to a high-floor sea-view room and was delighted to find a bathtub! As someone who loves a good soak, and given that Trip.com didn't indicate any room type had a bathtub, I had deliberated for a long time between this hotel and an Indigo. I ultimately chose this one for its location, so having a bathtub was absolutely perfect. The hotel also has a pool, which is a bit dated, but the direct sea view from the pool is a huge plus, making up for not being able to swim in the sea in winter.
The public areas' hardware is excellent. For example, the lobby and restaurant are on separate floors, preventing the lobby and breakfast experience from feeling crowded, unlike some five-star hotels with mixed-use floors.
**Hygiene:** The room was exceptionally clean. There was no dust on windowsills, and the bathtub was cleaned daily. Overall, it was superb. There were a few water marks in the bathroom, which is understandable for a hotel that has been operating for many years, but the cleaning and maintenance are clearly very proactive.
I hope the breakfast can be further improved. Currently, there are too few meat options; adding some local seafood specialties would be a great enhancement.

Arriving in Linyi, travel-worn from Tianjin, the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, all my fatigue quietly melted away. Traveling with a child always adds a layer of concern, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that every one of those worries was gently addressed by the thoughtful care here.
The most delightful surprise was undoubtedly the unexpected room upgrade. Our originally booked room type was quietly upgraded to a more spacious and comfortable one. The bright floor-to-ceiling windows offered gentle views of Linyi's streetscape, feeling like an unexpected gift that instantly elevated the quality of our stay. This silent yet profound gesture of thoughtfulness made us, first-time visitors, feel truly at home and welcomed.
This warmth was further exemplified and brought to life in the lobby bar. An employee named Shi Keqian, with her genuine smile and friendly demeanor, made a rich, aromatic handcrafted coffee that, with each sip, seemed to melt away the lingering travel fatigue. What warmed our hearts even more was her thoughtful attention to our child – she specially offered some delicate and adorable cookies. The smile on our child's face, clutching the cookies, was more captivating than any scenic view. Ms. Shi's genuine kindness wasn't just part of a service protocol; it was a heartfelt expression of hospitality that made this hotel feel less like a temporary lodging and more like the home of a warm and welcoming Linyi friend.
On a separate note, the swimming pool and other facilities, including their service, were quite disappointing. After a swim, we found there was virtually no body wash or shampoo available in the showers. When we inquired, we were met with various excuses. This really detracts from the overall experience at such a large, high-star hotel!
The room was clean, spacious and beautiful. Fruits and yogurt were provided. The large window allowed you to see the Caozhou Peony Garden. A souvenir was given when you checked out. The breakfast and evening buffet had a wide variety of dishes, good quality, and was clean and hygienic. The waiter's service attitude was also good, which was great! It is close to the Caozhou Peony Garden and can be reached on foot. I will choose this place again next time I come.

I had a very satisfying stay at MGM. The butler, Miss Ella, made me feel right at home. She arranged a great room for me and constantly checked in on my experience, asking if I needed any help with anything. She even upgraded my mini-bar snacks and drinks and gave me two adorable little lions, which my wife loved! Next time I'm in Qingdao, I'll definitely stay here again. To the hotel management: please give Miss Ella a raise! Employees like her should be promoted quickly to retain them, as they are key to making Qingdao MGM better and more complete.

When it comes to prime locations, no one beats the Shangri-La. Both the spring and city views are absolutely stunning. The Baotu Spring offers unique beauty in every season, and Quancheng Square is consistently spacious and prominent year-round. The hotel has been open for some years now. The public areas and facilities are still quite good, but the in-room amenities are rather outdated. The room isn't huge, and the bathroom feels a bit cramped. For the same room type, the InterContinental's bathroom design is much more practical. The in-room equipment definitely shows its age, though it's maintained reasonably well, and the cleanliness is excellent. The shower is ancient, lacking a rain shower head, and the handheld shower is difficult to use; no matter how I adjusted it, it sprayed towards the wall, making showering quite a hassle. The drainage isn't very smooth either. Even the clothes hangers are worn out but still in use. The complimentary drinking water is the cheapest kind available, and the dental kit is practically unusable. Shangri-La, can't you procure some better quality items? These aren't even expensive. Otherwise, you'll lose all your guests. I called guest services twice from the room phone, and no one picked up. It's quite surprising to encounter such a flaw in a five-star hotel. However, the overall service at Shangri-La is very good. The staff are warm, attentive, and polite. The Christmas atmosphere on the ground floor, both inside and out, is very festive. The excellent location significantly enhances the value for money at Shangri-La Jinan.

LLevyliuSeriously impressed! This hotel, plus the amazing front desk staff Kimi, is simply divine ✨
I always love Westin hotels, but this one completely surprised me in every way! The room was so clean it felt like it had its own filter, and the bedding was so soft I didn't want to get up. Even the toiletries had a subtle, pleasant scent—a detail-oriented person's dream! But what really stood out was Kimi's service at the front desk!
From the moment I walked in, they greeted me with a warm smile, proactively helped me with my luggage, and patiently explained the hotel facilities. They even discreetly recommended some authentic, lesser-known local eateries and tips to avoid tourist traps, which were even more useful than my own research! Kimi was enthusiastic without being overbearing throughout, which made me feel incredibly welcome.
I'll definitely stay here again next time! A huge shoutout to the hotel's high quality and Kimi's phenomenal service!

BBaizhouFacilities: Everything you could possibly need.
Cleanliness: Spotless. You could tell the bathroom had been thoroughly cleaned.
Service: The front desk manager and the check-in staff truly provided five-star service. The greeter girl in the lobby greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly welcome. During check-in, they even helped me choose a room that suited my needs. Honestly, with service like that, even if there was something I wasn't happy with, I'd probably end up satisfied anyway – and in this case, there was genuinely nothing to be unhappy about.
The swimming pool and gym facilities were comprehensive. The water was crystal clear, and the gym equipment had everything you could possibly need to work out every part of your body.

GGuest UserI would like to give a round of applause to this great hotel located next to airport as it showed good convenience for anyone who wishes to transit or stay for a vacation at Qingdao, China.
Also, i would like to give a warm thank you to the receptionist at the time when I arrived at the hotel. Her name is “Even”, and she was ever so polite, kind and always smiling which made feel so welcome. She made my experience at the hotel very satisfying as she was very informative about the facilities and services the hotel had to offer its guests. I believe that wonderful staff deserves every credit for treating me like one of China’s own people.
P.S. thank you so much Grand Barony Hotel for taking good care of me during my stay!

8852 Serendipitous LifeOverall the hotel staff and service are 4 star. What makes the hotel 5 Star are the rooms and facilities. It is clean, safe, and well maintained.
To be fair, I did arrive in early April during the off-season but I was not impressed with the service provided. Staff was consistently difficult to find, or would be crowded all in the lobby. Check-In and Check out was easy and the staff are very nice. International guests be aware, few to no staff speak English or communicate in any other language.
The breakfast was not good. Cold and hard food, empty plates, drinks and foods not being refilled, and then having the lights turned off after breakfast was finished being served. Few selections, mainly cheap foods and breads.
There are no staff outside, during my time there. No bell hops, no one to guide you to the front desk (Because it is not easy to find at first), no one to help with your luggage. A single staff member stands at the front of the lobby after you enter to greet you.
Positives - The room was spacious and very clean. It had most things I needed and the quality of the room and bathroom was excellent. The balcony looked over the courtyard and the ocean which people can see you if you go out but was a nice addition. The island the hotel is on has everything close by and most taxis/Didi’s will pick you up within five minute
The area has been developing for many years and is getting better each year. The Qingdao Beer Festival ground are close by (about 30 minutes drive) during the summer, but most activities are in the city about one hour drive away for the rest of the year.
For this hotel, the room and facilities are the focus as they are well taken care of and maintained. I am not sure if I would return.

LLele&mamaI have stayed in so many hotels, but this is my first review. This hotel is really great. We arrived at 9pm and wanted to stay in the same room with our parents and children. The front desk upgraded us to an executive suite for free. The room was big and clean, with L'Occitane toiletries. We also took our children to swim. The hotel adds points to Linyi. I have to give it a five-star rating and highly recommend it.

GGuest UserA truly satisfying stay! I arrived quite early, around 10 AM, and was initially concerned about not being able to check in. However, the friendly lady at the front desk immediately processed my check-in, so I didn't have to wait until the afternoon. She even kindly upgraded my room! The room itself was incredibly spacious and decorated in my favorite style, making it feel just like home. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to all the main tourist attractions. Getting around by subway was super convenient, with the subway entrance only about 20 meters from the hotel. I did a lot of research before booking and ultimately chose the Crowne Plaza Qingdao as it offered the best value for money. They also gave me a significant discount for extending my stay by two nights. I'm genuinely thrilled with my choice, thank you so much!

XXiaochaigouThis hotel is well-equipped with excellent facilities and is very well-managed. The rooms are spacious, and the service is highly satisfactory, making it ideal for both large conferences and individual stays. We particularly appreciated the welcome gift on our first day (complimentary drinks, fruits, and snacks in the room), and the restaurant even offered free small treats like fruits and yogurt. Upon check-out, we received a complimentary farewell gift (pastries), which added a lovely touch of warmth. It's a highly recommended hotel.
