The location is excllent if you like walking along the sea-coast. Though, despite the quiet location and no outside noice, you can hear all sounds from inside (the hotel floor) when you are in your room anticipating relax and privacy. Moreover, in case there is a connecting door in your room, be sure to hear every little sound from your neighbour like they are in the same room with you - that was a huge disappointment. Also, all chats from the corridor, vacuum cleaners and music from the nearby rooms - literally everything. The cleaning was excellent. The breakfast board offers a wide choice. The ladies at the receptin are super friendly and supportive!
The overall feeling is okay.
Facilities: Facilities are OK, there is an elevator but no air conditioning.
Hygienic: The sanitary condition is OK, and the whole is clean.
Environment: OK, in the mountains, the air is fresh.
Service: Good service and warm reception.
Following the hotel last night, another very good Best Western, the view of the mid-mountain is unbeatable, the hotel staff is very polite, and brought three room cards for different rooms, took me upstairs, and let me choose one!
Excellent hotel for very modest money!
Located not far from the embankment, 20 minutes to the train station at a leisurely pace.
Lived on the 4th floor - a good view, beautiful sunrises.
The room is really modern, everything is there, even a bath :)
Breakfast is normal, you will not leave hungry.
The staff is a separate point. The guys are great, they will tell you everything, show you, recommend where to go for dinner.
In short, excellent impressions of the hotel ❤️
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the exquisite Grand Hotel Villa Balbi in Sestri Levante. It was an experience I will never forget. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning location and unparalleled hospitality this luxurious hotel offered.
The hotel is in a magnificent historical villa, surrounded by lush gardens and overlooking the spectacular Ligurian Sea. The breathtaking views of the sea and the picturesque town of Sestri Levante made my stay even more memorable.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by friendly and professional staff, attentive to my every need throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth and efficient.
My room was delightful, with a plush, comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom with a rain shower.
The room was immaculately clean, and the housekeeping staff went above and beyond to ensure it remained so during my stay.
Breakfast was a lavish spread of freshly baked pastries, local cheeses, and various fruits and cereals, providing the perfect start to my day.
I took advantage of the hotel's beautiful outdoor pool area. The pool area featured comfortable loungers, allowing for relaxing and soaking up the Mediterranean sun.
The true highlight of my stay, however, was the exceptional service provided by the Grand Hotel Villa Balbi staff. They were always friendly, courteous, and eager to assist, making me feel at home. Their professionalism and attention to detail were commendable and contributed significantly to my overall experience.
My stay at the Grand Hotel Villa Balbi in Sestri Levante was an unforgettable experience that exceeded my expectations. The stunning location, luxurious accommodations, and exceptional service create a magical and memorable getaway. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and relaxing escape on the Italian Riviera.
The hotel was clean and much bigger than we anticipated. It was a bit of a hassle getting checked in online to get our “digital” room key. There was no one at reception so we had to call multiple times and chat via whatsapp. Ended up talking about 45 minutes.
Nice hotel with perfect parking garage and very good breakfast and coffee, kind breakfast staff and clean and spacious room.

AAVENTUSAs the hotel is located right off the highway upon entering Genoa, it is in a convenient location for those traveling by car.
The breakfast is simple but decent. The underground parking lot is spacious.
It is a good value hotel; there is a gas station right next to the hotel and a large supermarket, Eselunga, behind it.
RRagazziWe stayed at this beautiful hotel for the first time with our two children. We booked two rooms, both offering a stunning view of the sea. The atmosphere is charming and naturally elegant, enhanced by the historic character of the building. The staff was friendly and supportive throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of both international and local options. The beach is just across the street, only a two-minute walk, which was perfect for us. We also appreciated the hotel’s convenient parking, located just outside the building. The swimming pool with its bar was a highlight—an ideal spot to relax and enjoy an aperitif before dinner. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that we would be happy to repeat in the future.

GGuest UserThe hotel’s location was in a more residential area so was quieter than other hotels in the city centre. It took only about 10mins walking to get to the historic city centre
though. Hotel room was very spacious and clean. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food. There’re a few eateries and bars close by as well as a convenience store. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful .
DDenisShWe stayed in many luxury hotels on french cost and this hotel is so so). + Beautiful old interiors, connecting bridge to sea side. - relatively small rooms, shower cabin narrow, hotel is over used, restaurant service need to be approved (waiters are not interested in good service as restaurant full all time), dirty spoons (see photo), view on photo is “partially seaview”)))).
GGuest UserThe hotel itself is nice and tidy, however service is bad. All reception team are not willing to help anyone and doesn’t sound cheerful. Waiters in restaurant discussing customers in front of them. Extra surprise- there is no fresh water in room, you can buy it for 2euro from minibar. One more disappointment - beach club is not included also (the description states an exclusive beach area). There is a lot that needs to be improved.
AAnastasiya_KModern hotel with great sea view and private parking. Rooms are spacious, breakfast is ok. But if you are going to explore Cinque Terra - it isn’t that easy since there is no train station in Porto Venere (you either have to go to La Spezia to catch a train or to go by a ferry with very limited time schedule options and crowds of people). In addition it’s better to keep your stuff locked in the suitcase
GGuest UserMy stay at Manuelina Taste Hotel was fantastic, the room was spotless, very clean with nice views to a garden. Restaurant serves nice focaccia pizza and the manager went above and beyond to help, gave me a coffee while I was waiting for my taxi to Genoa. Did not have time to use the pool but it was very clean. The only downside is the location 1.5 km from Recco Station and wifi is inconsistent.
GGuest UserVery good location. Parking for free and really big . Stuff very friendly and helpful and kind and professional.
. Delicious breakfast. Clean rooms . Soft white new towels and bad set . Nice bar and pool
With gorgeous view . Very very warm atmosphere. We came for 1 night and love that and got 5 nights after . Recommend . Price and facilities worth it .
