The Rocks Market Review

Today is Saturday, as usual, there should be a folk market at the Sydney Harbour Bridge, so I will leave for the intercity train 🚉 and arrive at this market location immediately after breakfast. As always, the market is still at the foot of the North Bridge of the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the old place. From afar, it can be seen that under one large umbrella, there are stalls of one merchant, selling everything, of course, the most popular is the food stalls, all kinds of flavors of various countries' cuisine. There are also clothing shoes and hats and art works. I even saw the old cameras of the last century (all antiques). The price is not expensive. I will definitely buy one next time. The beautiful Sydney even has a folk market so elegant, I really like it.

The rock market adds highlights to the rocky area near Sydney Harbour. The market is open only on weekends and is mainly for visitors disembarking from nearby cruise ships. The stalls here offer beads, necklaces, shadows, etc., which people can find in similar markets elsewhere. Prices tend to be high. There are also food stalls serving juice, ice cream and snacks. For me these are better than the actual market. To be sure, nothing will be missed without going to the market, but the rocky area itself is worth a visit as its narrow paths and old cabins have history everywhere.

The building is like medieval Europe, and the popularity is very strong. In addition to the market, there are many restaurants. By the way, you can also visit the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.

The weekend market in the rock area will have local artists or various merchants set up stalls here every Saturday and Sunday. It was rainy on the day of the trip, but the stalls in the market have sheds, so it does not affect the visit. At the entrance to the market near the ring pier, there is a bicycle full of flowers, which is actually used to place a map of the rock area. The design is very interesting. The stalls range from clothing, personal jewelry, soap spices, local souvenirs, art paintings to dried meat. There are many refrigerator stickers made by the store itself, which are basically not available elsewhere. As a refrigerator sticker, I didn't hesitate to buy a bunch. In short, it's very interesting, I can go shopping for a long time!
