GGuest UserOn my holiday, I brought my child to Xi'an and chose the Sofitel Legend inside the city walls. I booked a package on Ctrip, and the price was excellent. The hotel's location is superb, convenient for getting anywhere, and there are tons of options for food delivery. The entire hotel offers a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle; as soon as you step through the main entrance, you're shielded from the city's vibrancy. The soundproofing in the rooms is also fantastic, ensuring a great night's sleep every night.
The staff in all areas of the hotel are incredibly warm and professional. They always greet you enthusiastically and proactively offer various services; we felt very well taken care of during our stay.
The hotel itself is compact and exquisite, with all the facilities and services you could need. There's a pool and a gym; the pool was often empty, so we had it all to ourselves! The minibar in the room comes with chocolates and a variety of drinks, plus a coffee machine. Every evening, there's a turndown service that includes cookies or small snacks and milk. The bedding is also very comfortable. The breakfast spread is extensive, with plenty to eat each day. The à la carte menu offers a wide selection of local delicacies and both Chinese and Western dishes, and it's available until 10:30 AM, which is perfect for late risers!
What's more, the hotel is simply beautiful; every picture you take turns out great. Friends who love getting good photos should definitely consider staying here, as both the rooms and public areas are very photogenic. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I come back to Xi'an. Oh, and the toiletries are also very comprehensive; you only need to bring your own skincare products. The sewing kit was a pleasant surprise – even the thread was already pre-threaded!

GGuest UserTitle: This hotel stay was incredible value for money, let me share some details so you can get a feel for it.
I booked this hotel simply for the convenience of seeing 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow,' but I never expected such a wonderful experience.
First, the location is unbeatable – right inside the scenic area. Staying here grants you free admission. Following the front desk's advice, I went for a stroll around 7 AM. The entire park was almost empty, and the morning light on Mount Li was stunning. By the time we returned for breakfast, tour groups were already lining up at the entrance. In that moment, I felt incredibly clever.
The service was also exceptionally thoughtful. In the evening, as we headed out for the show, I was worried about rain, but the staff had already prepared raincoats for us and even escorted us all the way to the performance venue, so we didn't have to navigate on our own. Whenever we had a question, their response was always, ”No problem, we'll take care of it,” which was incredibly reassuring.
The room was clean and comfortable. They provided pear soup and fruit; the warm pear soup was soothing for the throat and very relaxing to drink. Breakfast was incredibly lavish. I initially intended to eat light, but I couldn't resist grabbing several plates.
In summary: it was stress-free, comfortable, and we were very well looked after. If you're coming to Huaqing Palace for a show or sightseeing, staying here is definitely something you won't regret. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Facilities: All the fixtures are brand new. The shower pressure is great and very comfortable. There's no old or worn-out feeling as some negative reviews mentioned, only understated luxury.
Cleanliness: It's cleaned very well every day, and they even noticed we had a child and thoughtfully left two extra bottles of water, which was very attentive and considerate.
Ambiance: The antique-style decor is in keeping with the age of the hotel, and both the kids and elders really enjoyed this style. Since we're in a thousand-year-old capital, of course, we want to stay in a hotel with historical charm! There's a bronze carriage in the lobby and Tang Sancai pottery in the room, giving a feeling of traveling back 5000 years. My child even said our hotel is like a museum!
Service: From check-in to check-out, every staff member we encountered was smiling and had an excellent attitude.

GGuest UserLove love love this hotel!!! I stayed with my friend in a 2 bed 2 bath room for 8 nights and it was extremely spacious and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and the beds super super super comfy ( I could sleep it in all day but my itinerary was super full). The photos online are quite true to the actual room. They had extremely good service too, starting from the airport pickup, where they were on time and the car was spacious and luxurious! We did the 5 seater sedan at RMB100, the price is comparable to a didi premium but the difference is that they would track your flight and made sure to you were taken care of. The hotel even had Butler service and was very attentive, I could even get them to help store my friend's birthday cake sent from the local cake shop and send it up to us when we were back. The laundry service was handy for a long stay, it was easy to use (and we were on the same floor so it felt like home to just go to and from our room to the laundry room). They even had special prices for popular shows, easily saving more than 50% of the listed price. Thanks for being a home away from home! PS the cats on the 2nd floor is super cute!

XXingkongyikexingThe biggest surprise of this trip was meeting Jiajia. Her service was warm and thoughtful, and her responses were quick. She helped us coordinate our room and arranged dog-walking routes, which made everything so stress-free. Our child had an absolute blast; the craft activities were different every day, the indoor playground was clean, and the outdoor playground was spacious. The hot spring play area had slides and water features that kept them entertained for ages! Being able to bring our pet meant no one in the family was left out. Next time we visit, we'll definitely look for Jiajia again!

GGuest UserFive-star recommendation for W Hotel Xi'an! Our family of three, traveling with a child, had an overall stay experience that exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and clean, with a unique design that made it comfortable and not cramped. The service throughout our stay was exceptionally thoughtful; the staff were gentle, responded promptly to requests, and were very patient with our child. A special shout-out to the breakfast buffet – the variety was immense, with both Chinese and Western options, plus authentic Shaanxi local snacks. The freshly made biangbiang noodles tasted incredibly authentic, ensuring both adults and kids found something they loved. The location is convenient for getting around, and the ambiance is fantastic. We were extremely satisfied with our accommodation this trip and will prioritize choosing W Hotel Xi'an again on our next visit!

Before we even arrived, she proactively contacted us to confirm our needs. Hearing we had a child, she went ahead and prepared the sofa bed and even set out latex pillows. During our stay, her responses were always prompt, and she kindly helped us with a late check-out. These seemingly small gestures made us, being far from home, feel truly supported.
The hotel itself also added a lot to our experience – the high-floor views were superb, the Silk Road-inspired design was very photogenic, and the Roujiamo and Zenggao for breakfast were authentically delicious. But what truly stands out the most for me is Judy's genuine warmth and kindness. Thank you, Grand Hyatt Xi'an, and even more so, thank you, Judy, for making this ancient city feel so welcoming and memorable to us.

GGuest UserThis was my second stay here. I stayed once before on a road trip passing through Xi'an, and it was a great experience, so I decided to book it again for my return journey. We stayed out too late at night, so we weren't able to get up in the morning, but they kindly extended our check-out time. They have an underground parking garage that connects directly to a mall, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. There's also a laundry service (kudos to the staff again!), a mini-fridge with complimentary drinks. Overall, fantastic value for money!

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful sleep. The breakfast had a wide variety of fresh options. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend!

AAnonymous UserI stayed for 4 nights to celebrate my birthday while traveling in Xi'an. I asked the hotel if they could arrange a birthday cake, and they readily agreed! Not only was the cake large, but it was also delicious – even better than ones you buy outside. I'm so grateful to the hotel for that. The breakfast was also very substantial. From the front desk to room service to the breakfast staff, everyone provided wonderfully comfortable and thoughtful service. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Xi'an. The only minor drawback was that the swimming pool had some floating lint when I checked in back in April, but it cleared up by the third day of my stay.
