Where do you start. Greeted us with sincerity and had bn upgraded. The Bures were beautiful, everything you need. But could have used a bigger fridge .Gardens were immaculate. Staff were amazing, kind, genuinely friendly. Went out of their way to know our names. At dinner we were welcomed with their welcome song. We stayed twice. We had already booked our timeshare for our second week and were very sad to leave. All the staff came together to sing Fijis good bye song ‘Isa Lei’ which brought tears to our eyes. Only spent three nights at our timeshare and rang Crusoes to say we were coming back. They welcomed us back with open arms. Snorkeling was great. Activities were pre organized for the next day. We loved every moment and we will def be coming back next year. We made lifelong friends
Such a great customer service. I booked a room with a king bed and by mistake i was given a room with 2 single beds. The team quickly responded and upgraded me to a ocean view room with a king bed for free. Their breakfast was awsome. I loved every second of my stay. And hats off to the fijian guy at the entrance. I forgot his name. He was so helpfull carrying everyones bags and showing them their rooms and he always had a smile on his face. Definetly will stay again.
My flight reached late at night. I checked in after 10pm. No one was there to guide or help with the luggage. Had difficulties looking for my room. Was told by an employee that my room was upstairs so had to go up the stairs with my 20kg back, 7 kg carry on and my handbag, only to be told by a guest that it was downstairs. I was frustrated and exhausted from my long flight from Australia. The guest took me downstairs to my room. Thank God for his help. The hotel was nice, except for their services, other things were good.
Very friendly people, very welcoming and peaceful.
Food are so delicious.
I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be free from stress to visit Duadua resort.
Enjoyable stay with standout staff… just a few areas to improve
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Crowne Plaza. The resort atmosphere was fun and relaxing, and the team truly made us feel welcome.
A few things could be improved: room service options were limited, so if you wanted something better you had to leave your room and go to the restaurants rather than having it delivered. Also, housekeeping wasn’t as thorough as it should be. There was hair in the bathroom, and the grout plus corners/crevices needed more attention. We also dealt with a constant flickering light in our room.
That said, the staff were kind, friendly, and responsive, and they didn’t hesitate to fix issues once we brought them to their attention, which I really appreciated. Special shoutout to Temo at La Bottega Italian Restaurant, Esa and Kelly who made our nights at the Urban Sugar Beach Club an absolute blast, and Esava and Jo from concierge made sure we were well taken care of! The resort also had amazing activities planned during the Christmas holiday for all ages!
Despite the few issues, I’d still recommend staying here, especially for the great service and lively resort vibe.
Nice little place near the beach. It was picture perfect. Room was big and spacious with old style charm. Staff were friendly and the manager was helpful.
Walking distance to a few good eateries. Dinner at this place was also good.
I recently stayed at Gecko's Resort and had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. The resort has a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. The rooms are spacious and well-kept, with a comfortable bed that made for restful nights. I especially appreciated the little touches like free DVDs available to borrow – a nice bonus for quiet evenings in.
The location is great too – just a short distance from the beautiful Sigatoka Sand Dunes and the Pacific Ocean, so there’s no shortage of things to see and do nearby.
One downside, however, is the Wi-Fi. Access requires a voucher, and if you're streaming videos (like on YouTube), the data only lasts around two hours. This was a bit inconvenient, especially in an age where connectivity is expected to be seamless.
Overall, Gecko's Resort is a great option for a peaceful getaway with a few nice extras. Just be prepared to manage your internet usage or consider unplugging and enjoying the serene surroundings.
A very nice resort. Located next to the ocean so the view is very beautiful. The facility is clean and the price is affordable and reasonable. I would stay here again if I come back to Fiji. It’s 20-30mins away from Suva. I came alone but it’s a good hotel for Families too
The InterContinental Golf Resort is quite a distance from the city center and the airport. However, if you're not planning to visit the outer islands in Fiji, the InterContinental is probably the best choice. The sea views are much better compared to city hotels, making it a great place for a relaxing vacation.
The breakfast was the highlight of our stay – incredibly varied, and they were always quick to replenish everything, so there were always fresh options available.
The environment was also beautiful and comfortable. The front desk and shuttle bus service provided the best experience.
Lunch and dinner felt a bit less impressive compared to breakfast. On our last night, we got caught in a heavy downpour. The restaurant initially started to leak, and then we had to move to the middle section. We didn't even finish our meal and got wet. The drainage system seemed inadequate; the floor was quickly covered in water, and we had to brave the rain to get back to our room. We asked the restaurant to call a shuttle bus, but they said they were too busy and couldn't help, which resulted in us getting completely soaked. Our shoes were still wet the next day. I hope this can be improved. Overall, it was a good experience.
Old facilities. But the restaurant pool part is OK.
Location is OK. Staff is very friendly.
The restaurant price is OK, there is no expensive outrageous.

everyone is friendly. big room . all complete. . staying here will give you no problem just enjoy
Incredible hotel, fantastic location and super friendly staff. Great location if you’re looking to relax, Fiji time! Gym has everything you could need, cafe, restaurants, entertainment, gym, tennis courts, beach and they offer water sports and activities on campus as well as convenient and easy experiences to book. We even booked a day out and a boat came to the beach inform of our room and picked us up. Amazing place, safe to say we didn’t want to go home.
The resort is beach front which is handy and not far from the airport either. They have good options for day trips as well. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Evening entertainment was also very good with fire shows, live music etc
Friendly stuff, that checked in on us several times to ensure we were having a good stay. Good snorkelling at the resort; however, equipment is only provided during hightide which was odd as mornings were much better for snorkelling. All areas of the resort have amazing views. Good variety of restaurants.

Great beach, clear water , good service, room size is generous. Nice atmosphere. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. They offer hospitality room for us to use as we need a shower after checking out. Very good service. We feel refreshed after a long day and then get on the plane.
