The Honkoji temple in Kanazawa is a place of tranquility and spirituality that enchantes visitors with its traditional architecture and the beauty of the surrounding gardens.
It is famous locally as' hydrangea Ji Temple '
It is located in a place surrounded by nature, about 20 to 30 minutes by car from the center of Kanazawa to Toyama. It is said that about 1800 hydrangeas are planted in the precincts and surroundings of the temple by the hands of the chief priest and the local 々. Therefore, it is recommended to go during the hydrangea season. There are many Jizo paintings on the ceiling of the precincts of the temple, and I remember hearing that there is a Jizo similar to myself in this. I asked the chief priest to get a red stamp.
