the best outdoor museum in Riga — you’ll learn there about different buildings, Latvian history, traditions and culture. in summer most of the buildings are open and entrance fee is just 4euros. highly recommend for all the culture lovers, please wear good shoes, no fancy heals here would survive. 😂😇

The Open Air Museum of Latvian National History is a large folk village in the 19th century that gathered 120 wooden houses in four major areas of the country. As soon as you enter this folk village with an area of 1520 mu, you will immediately return to the rural life of Latvia in the 18th and 19th centuries. Folk villages inherit the tradition, creating generations of "steady, reliable Latvians", which is praised by the world.

The first time I saw the museum, there were many wooden houses inside, because the tour guide was not there that day, some things were not understandable, but the whole building felt very distinctive.
