The Observatory Hill is near the Rocks in Sydney and walked very close. Here is a great viewing point for admiring the Harbour Bridge. Especially watching a sunset quietly here is really a beautiful enjoyment. Personally recommend it
The Observatory Hill is a nice little green area around the Observatory. After you have finished your tour of the Observatory, it is a great choice to have a picnic by the way at lunch and also have a nice view of the Sydney Bridge. Although you're not far from the hustle and bustle of Sydney, there are definitely some (relative) quiet spots to be found here.
The Observatory Hill, which is not a remote part of the city, is a high point for the view of the harbour in the rocky areas. Several huge ancient trees and lawns on the park are a place for locals to exercise and relax, as well as for wedding photos. The park has a viewing platform, a fort and an observatory, the oldest observatory in Australia, open during the day and organizes some star-watching activities at night, with the Chinese-provided address: 1001 Upper Fort St, Millers Point NSW 2000 Traffic: Along the Rocky District Argyle St Street, Cross the Argyle Cut tunnel and walk along the indicator for a few minutes to the Peak Observatory opening time: day 10:00-17:00; night tour weekday 18:30-20:00, Friday and Saturday 21:00-22:30, Chinese group the first Sunday of each month
The hill is not very high but the views are very beautiful and the blue sky and green trees are interspersed
What a beautiful view point to see the entire harbour bridge and it is especially beautiful at dusk
