Anonymous User: The hotel contacted me the day before to ask if I needed a high-speed train pick-up. I arrived quite late on the day, and they kept in touch the whole time, which was very thoughtful. It's located right across from the Alkaline Wetland Park, and my room had a great window view for catching the sunrise. It's only a 5-minute drive to the Beichi Tourist Transportation Hub and about a 500-meter walk to the Yunding Market. There is also a supermarket right outside, making it super convenient. The breakfast was lavish with both Chinese and Western options. Plus, there are various commemorative souvenir stamps in the lobby—a real treat for stamp collectors! A fantastic choice if you're visiting the North Slope.

The staff were friendly. The only downside was that the shuttle service schedule was very limited, so we ended up having to take a taxi to Changbai Mountain Station ourselves.

Smilexiaojiebuaipashan: Erdaobaihe Town is about 2 kilometers away from the bustling downtown area with many restaurants, making it convenient to get to Enduoli and Yunding Market. Food delivery is also easy to order, with robots delivering right to your door. Mermaid Pine Park is just across the street. The room facilities and decor are quite good, and the hygiene is excellent. The breakfast looks abundant, but in reality, the variety isn't particularly wide, though the taste is decent. A highlight of the hotel is its hot springs. Besides being free for guests, they also welcome external visitors, so there's a fair amount of foot traffic. The hot springs feature indoor pools on the first and second floors. On the third or fourth floor (I can't recall which), there are many saunas and various themed relaxation rooms, including stone, mugwort, and traditional Chinese medicine saunas with different temperatures. The fifth floor has an outdoor swimming pool area. The management is quite mature; the whole process of getting a hand tag, changing shoes, changing clothes, and returning the tag is very smooth and convenient. Visually, the hygiene also seems good. There are several attentive aunties in the changing rooms who actively guide you. There are small spin dryers in the changing rooms, which are handy. If you rinse your swimsuit and use the dryer, it will dry much faster. Overall, the experience was very good. If you choose to stay in Erdaobaihe, this place offers good facilities and hot springs to enjoy.

Guest User: Overall, a great experience. The Atour Hotel definitely lives up to its brand reputation. Room & Facilities: The room was very spacious and exceptionally clean. The hotel is located in a quiet area of the town, right opposite the Jianshui Park, making it peaceful and free from noise. The air conditioning was easily adjustable, which was a huge plus for getting a good night's sleep. Dining: The breakfast was amazing! There were plenty of Chinese options, and everything tasted great. It wasn't just a standard hotel buffet; it really gave us the energy needed for a day at Changbaishan. Service & Location: The service staff were generally very friendly. While the hotel isn't right in the town center, it's only a 10 to 15-minute walk to Yunding Market and surrounding restaurants, which is very convenient. It was also very easy to get a DiDi to the train station—though this might be because it was the off-season. Summary: Highly recommended for a trip to Changbaishan. It's quiet, clean, and offers a fantastic breakfast. Excellent value and a very comfortable stay!

Guest User: I spent a long time looking at hotels before coming to Changbai Mountain, and honestly, I was a bit overwhelmed. I only booked this one on the high-speed train, and I must say, it was fantastic! The hotel is right behind the Chinese Merganser Park, and Eunduri is just a short walk away, both very close. Our butler, Xiao Yu and Xiao Zhou, provided excellent service. We missed the scheduled hotel shuttle to the distribution center, but they arranged a special car for us. They pretty much accommodated every request. We booked a duplex room in Building 6, and I was surprised to find a bathroom on the second floor too. The whole hotel felt so clean, and the environment was wonderful. There are even a few deer and alpacas that you can observe and feed up close. Breakfast is served in Building 3; although the variety isn't huge, they have all the essentials. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great today, and Heaven Lake was temporarily closed due to rain. We visited a few other spots, and my shoes got soaked, but it didn't dampen my spirits at all. The hotel even sent a space heater to our room. Everything was perfect!😍😍

Guest User: We were extremely satisfied with our stay at this guesthouse! Not only was the room exceptionally spacious, but the amenities were also fully equipped, and the breakfast was delicious. The owner and all the staff members were super nice. If you want to go anywhere, you can arrange a ride in advance through the group chat, which is super convenient. Because it started raining at the scenic spot, we came back early, with still several hours to go before our high-speed train. Even though we had already checked out, the owner had the kitchen make us a plate of dumplings—it was so heartwarming! Seeing that I had nowhere to go, they even gave me a room for a few hours, and before I left, they treated me to an authentic Northeast Chinese rice wrap (Da Fan Bao)!!! Will definitely book here again next time I visit!

Public transportation is too much of a hassle. Actually, at the beginning of the trip, I was still thinking about the Arxan "Swiss rolls," but I later realized that the autumn scenery here is definitely not just a substitute! Colorful forests, maar lakes, alpine meadows, and Changbai Mountain Heaven Lake—the scenery is so diverse that you won't get tired of it, and the food is delicious too 😋. 🚙 Our original road trip itinerary was as follows: Day 1: Changchun – Sihailongwan Maar Lake (Longwanqun National Forest Park) Day 2: Linjiang Valley Day 3: Changbai Mountain West Slope Day 4: Changbai Mountain South Slope Day 5: Erdaobaihe Town Jiuxi Tingquan Scenic Area / Lushuihe National Forest Park Day 6: Erdaobaihe Town – Changchun In practice, we had to make adjustments because the Changbai Mountain scenic area was closed. We went to Erdaobaihe first and then to the South Slope, which added a bit of a detour 🧭. 🍁 Sihailongwan Maar Lake: Standing on the observation tower, I saw the earth as it originally was ✨ A maar lake is a special type of volcanic crater lake formed by a steam explosion caused by the mixing of groundwater and magma 🌋. Longwanqun National Forest Park includes several scenic areas: Dalongwan, Sanjiaolongwan, Sihailongwan, and Diaoshuihu, with some distance between each. Sihailongwan is a newly opened scenic area this year, with an admission ticket of 49 🎫. There is an observation tower inside where you can see the panoramic view without a drone, which is why we chose Sihailongwan! As a newly opened scenic area, the facilities are not quite perfect, but the scenery is truly beautiful 🏞️. 🍁 Linjiang Valley: When alpine meadows meet maple valleys, it's exactly what a kid from the south imagines autumn to be 🍂 Admission ticket is 50. The scenic area is only accessible by self-driving, and it was really crowded during the National Day holiday, so I recommend entering the scenic area before 8:00 AM ⏰. You really need a bit of luck to see Heaven Lake—of course, we saw it twice, haha 🤭. The West Slope was very crowded during the National Day holiday, while the South Slope was less crowded and offered a much better experience. 🍁 Erdaobaihe Town Jiuxi Tingquan Scenic Area: We originally planned to go rafting at Lushuihe National Forest Park, but we gave up after hearing that the lines were very long 🏊♂️. Jiuxi Tingquan is about a 10-minute drive from town, and the admission ticket is 68. It wasn't crowded, and the scenery was quite nice—the sunset over the snowy cabins and the tranquility of the mountains made it feel as if the whole world had gone quiet 🌄. ⚠️ Also, it gets dark really early in Northeast China in the autumn. The sun starts to set after 3:00 PM, and it's completely dark by 5:30 PM. Driving at night is difficult 🚗, so it's best to head out early in the morning!

The restrooms in all areas were spotless, with sensor-activated flushes and hot water for handwashing – a truly touching experience for an autumn/winter trip. The restrooms had different themes, such as sables and black bears, adding a touch of vibrancy. We arrived a little late; most of the leaves had fallen, and it was the dry season, so the waterfalls weren't at their most beautiful. The small Tianchi Lake wasn't worth visiting yet; it's small, the water quality is so-so, and the surrounding forests are bare. Overall, the autumn air was crisp and clear. The 50-kilometer stretch from the distribution center to the transfer center was beautiful, vibrant with color, and Tianchi Lake was stunning. I especially loved the forest at the bottom of the valley; the pine scent was wonderful! I highly recommend walking to the end; there are vast, fairytale-like forests there, and we were lucky enough to encounter foxes and quite a few chipmunks along the way!
