Ruyi Peak Cableway Scenic Area
The scenery was nice. The guidebook said Xiangong Mountain had more steps, so we chose Ruyi Peak instead. The section from the cable car to the viewing platform wasn't strenuous, but the section from the entrance to the cable car and from the viewing platform to the bridge was particularly tiring. We were too tired to climb the other attractions, so we finished in about an hour.

We could enjoy the entire performance without anyone blocking our view.Highly recommend this unforgettable experience if you’re visiting Yangshuo!

The guided tour was a good thing, adding to the fun. It was tiring on the legs; there were a lot of steps, making it quite strenuous to climb, and some parts were slippery. Short sleeves are fine for this season; the temperature inside the cave was pleasant. I brought a jacket thinking it would be cold, but I didn't need it. It takes about an hour to finish, leaving you breathless. Overall, I think it's worth a visit to pass the time.

Strolling through the Ten-Mile Gallery, embarking on a poetic journey through nature I've always heard that Guilin's scenery is the best under heaven, and Yangshuo's scenery is the best in Guilin. The Ten-Mile Gallery in Yangshuo, however, holds the most vibrant and gentle aspects of Guilin's landscape. Taking advantage of my free time, I set foot on this land, measuring this ten-mile scroll with my own footsteps, immersing myself in the green mountains, clear waters, and idyllic fields, and gaining an unforgettable natural journey. The Ten-Mile Gallery is not an isolated attraction, but a scenic corridor stretching for several miles, connected by National Highway 321, linking karst peaks, clear streams, and rustic fields into a flowing landscape scroll. The most enjoyable way to experience this landscape is undoubtedly to rent a bicycle and leisurely ride along the designated scenic routes. No need to rush, no need to worry about time; just let the gentle breeze caress your face and watch the scenery unfold before you, truly experiencing the exquisite feeling of "traveling through a painting." During the ride, every sight is a surprise. On both sides of the road, karst peaks rise abruptly from the ground in countless shapes, each unique and lifelike. Some resemble camels crossing a river, standing quietly on the bank as if about to wade through; others look like golden cats emerging from their dens, lively and playful, drawing your attention; still others are like fairies descending to earth, their graceful forms enhanced by the swirling clouds. These magnificent peaks, sculpted by nature's artistry, stand out clearly against the blue sky, each with its own unique story, making you marvel at the wonders of nature. In this gallery of natural beauty, the Yulong River is the most vibrant embellishment. This river, hailed as the "Little Li River," boasts emerald-green waters that are crystal clear, reflecting the verdant mountains, trees, and rice paddies on both banks. A gentle breeze ripples the surface, causing the mountain and tree shadows to sway, creating a scene reminiscent of a watercolor painting. Reaching the Gongnong Bridge offers an even more spectacular viewpoint, where the Yulong River and Jinbao River converge. Bamboo rafts glide gently by, the crisp, melodious sounds of the raftmen's poles mingling with the gentle murmur of the flowing water, composing a natural symphony. Standing on the bridge and gazing into the distance, the mountains are shrouded in mist, the water exudes a gentle charm, and the fields are scattered with wisps of smoke rising from chimneys—a tranquil pastoral landscape that instantly soothes any restlessness. The scenery along the way combines the majestic beauty of nature with the warm warmth of human life. Ancient villages are scattered throughout, with white walls and black tiles, the sounds of chickens and dogs filling the air. Villagers work in the fields, children play in the alleys, and the vibrant atmosphere adds warmth and intimacy to this landscape. Slow down and walk along every inch of the Ten-Mile Gallery, and you will feel a unique beauty. In spring, the rice paddies are a vibrant green, wildflowers bloom freely, and life abounds; in summer, the trees provide shade, the river water is cool, and the heat dissipates.

If you visit Yangshuo, you shouldn’t miss West Street (Xi Jie), a historic street with a history of more than 1,000 years.At night, the street becomes very lively, filled with numerous restaurants, bars, and cafés. It’s a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.

The hotel experience was good. The receptionist, Xiao Tang Dandan, at Zhengyang Pedestrian Street was very helpful. There was complimentary tea and monk fruit mineral water on the first floor. The facilities on the floor were good, including massage chairs.

It's definitely worth seeing; the night view offers a completely different experience, and it's pleasantly cool. There are singing competitions and various island games where you can win silver coins to redeem for gifts. Highly recommended for families with children.

I hiked from Shuiedi to Gongnong Bridge, a relatively short route that takes about 30-40 minutes. The scenery along the way was beautiful, with four drops. Luckily, I bought a disposable raincoat to cover my lower body, so my pants didn't get too wet, although my upper body and face were partially soaked.

This National Day holiday, we visited Longmen Water Cave, a pristine natural karst cave, unlike the commercialized, illuminated ones. The entire tour takes about two hours, covering 5km round trip. Due to the holiday, it was quite crowded, and the instructors typically led 2-3 groups per day. Our instructor was "Frog," who patiently accompanied the children throughout, carefully accommodating their pace, which greatly enhanced the experience. The route alternated between water and land, including wading in the water and walking on land, and even included a carefully navigable log bridge – a truly immersive adventure. We also saw tiny stalactites, which the children found particularly fascinating, keeping them excited and happy throughout. The temperature inside the cave was quite different from outside. While it was 18℃ outside, the air inside was a bit thin; short sleeves were sufficient, and it wasn't cold during activities. Unfortunately, due to the season, there were no mud baths, diving activities, or large numbers of bats. Overall, it was a very interesting geological education experience, suitable for families who enjoy adventure.

This exceeded my expectations. I thought it would just be a simple nighttime boat trip, with eight people per boat, but there was an island visit afterwards where you could interact with the NPCs. It was like a simplified version of Banzai Mountain. I had a lot of fun, even though it was quite hot, all the NPCs were very enthusiastic! There was singing and cormorant fishing performances.
