Phoenix Lake, formerly known as Dawangtan Reservoir, is located in Lianhua Village, Nama Township, Yongning County, Nanning City. It is a relatively large artificial lake in Nanning City. It is a good place to combine scenery and landscape, affection and joy. Phoenix Lake was originally a swift river beach. In ancient times, a Dawang Temple was built here, so it is commonly known as Dawang Beach. In 1958, a reservoir was built here, and the water was blocked under the Phoenix Mountain. The water storage capacity reached 540 million cubic meters, which could irrigate more than 200,000 mu of farmland and breed a large number of fresh fish. The scenery of the mountains has become a tourist scenic spot, and people call it "Phoenix Lake".
