Jinhua Temple

The relationship between Jinhua Palace and Yao Wang Temple is "back to back", and the sides of the two buildings are connected. The main entrance of Yao Wang Temple is facing Shennong Street, while Jinhua House is facing Jinhua Street. At first, I didn't know why it was burning incense in front of me and burning incense behind me. When I looked at the plaque carefully, I realized that one was to sacrifice the king of medicine and the other was to sacrifice Guan Gong.

Jinhua Palace is a temple of Wang Ye. It is rare in the local temples with Wang Ye as the core of belief, even in Taiwan where folk beliefs are flourishing. However, although this building seems insignificant, but also more than a hundred years, Tainan Municipal Government has listed it as a monument, for local residents is also an important faith center, every god's birthday, always very lively. It is surrounded by Hai'an Road Art Street, which is also full of nostalgia.

Many of Tainan's ancestors came from Jinhua Mansion on Shennong Street in Quanzhou, Fujian Province. Its ancestral temple is located in Jinjiang. It also has the cultural connotation of memorizing ancestors'crossing the sea to reclaim land. The old street outside the temple is full of early taste.

Jinhua Palace is located in the central and western districts of Tainan City. The temple is dedicated to two kings, Emperor Guan and Mali.
