Photos of Xingcheng City Wall

The city wall of Xingcheng Ancient City was built in the third year of Xuande in Ming Dynasty (1428). It is one of the few ancient city walls in Ming and Qing Dynasties in my country. It is a specimen of a military defense city in the Ming Dynasty. One of only four relatively complete ancient city walls in China. The city wall is square with a circumference of 3274 meters. There are city gates in the middle of the four sides of the city wall, and there are arrow towers on the city gates, which are two-story pavilions. The four corners of the city wall are set up with platforms protruding from the city corners.
