Photos of Changdao

Changdao County is located between the Liaodong Peninsula and the Shandong Peninsula, north of the city of Penglai. It has been given the title of "Paradise on the Ocean". Most of the major attractions on Changdao are concentrated on Beichangshan Island (Beixian) and Nanchangshan Island (Nanxian). Scattered over this area are reefs, cliffs, beaches and forests. Famous places of interests include Yueyawan Park, Jiuzhangya cliff, Miaodao Island's TianHou Temple, Longzhua Mountain, Baota Reef, Wanniao Island, the boundary between the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea, Linhai Park, Wangfu Reef, and so on. Tourists coming to Changdao must first take a ferry from Penglai Port. One can cover all of the major points of interest on the islands in one day. However, in order to truly experience the atmosphere of Changdao, it is highly recommended that one spends a night on the islands.
