The owner was very concise and straight to the point, highlighting all the key information. The hotel is located near the market and has its own backyard that can fit about ten cars. Coles and McDonald's are a twenty-minute walk away, and there's a Chinese restaurant right across the street. It's also very close to the port.

It's quite clean. And the staff is nice. The water is not hot all day,, but warm anyway. Maybe because of too many people. They don't have a place to hang the clothes, but you can pay for the dryer machine. You can get a discount for the Japanese food next door If you live in this hotel. That surprised a bit. The noodle is delicious, But the rice is not.

It's low season. I saw only 2 groups of guests (2 people per group) including mine during our stay. We occupied the best room type (2-bedroom) with kitchenette, hot shower, heater in the dining room, TV, heater to the bedding which is a hearty touch in such a cold area. It can accommodate 7 to 8 people in the room. Very quiet, we only heard waves at the beach which's at the opposite side of the main road about the front of our house. I read many negative comments on the male host (Scott?) before our stay, but our actual experience is that he's ok, we didn't feel anything bad about him. He is kind to advise us the best location to watch stars and southern lights. The worst thing that we must mention is the poor quality of water which is brownish yellow. So we dared not use the tap water for cooking or drinking. This is very undesirable.

Good place to sleep for couple days. I hope next time the property owner will provide Microwave for heating the food of the customer and the heater as well. For me, all the areas are clean including the bathroom, toilet or dining room. With the free laundry and dryer, This Capsule hotel really recommend for solo traveler like me to wash my clothes. The room was very tidy and clean, which made for a very comfortable stay. However, the front desk initially charged a 10-dollar fee. After checking out, we were informed that this 10 dollars could not be refunded because we had consumed the chocolate and mineral water from the mini-fridge.

I recently stayed at the Deloraine Hotel due to an incident in the Devonport CBD, which led me to find accommodation in the area. This hotel offered very affordable rates. I booked a room for one person on the same day, and although the facilities weren't the newest, they were well-maintained and clean. The shared bathroom was particularly tidy and spacious. The kitchen area was also quite nice, providing an opportunity to greet and chat with other guests. The only downside was some noise at night, possibly due to trains passing nearby. Overall, the quality and service were well worth the price.

Formby Hotel provides a decent stay with a convenient location. However, it would be nice if they offered a buffet-style breakfast. The rooms could also be a bit cleaner with a fresher scent. Additionally, there were no staff present during my stay, which was a bit inconvenient. If the price were a little lower, it would be perfect.
