It's quite clean. And the staff is nice. The water is not hot all day,, but warm anyway. Maybe because of too many people. They don't have a place to hang the clothes, but you can pay for the dryer machine. You can get a discount for the Japanese food next door If you live in this hotel. That surprised a bit. The noodle is delicious, But the rice is not.
I recently stayed at the Deloraine Hotel due to an incident in the Devonport CBD, which led me to find accommodation in the area. This hotel offered very affordable rates. I booked a room for one person on the same day, and although the facilities weren't the newest, they were well-maintained and clean. The shared bathroom was particularly tidy and spacious. The kitchen area was also quite nice, providing an opportunity to greet and chat with other guests. The only downside was some noise at night, possibly due to trains passing nearby. Overall, the quality and service were well worth the price.
Although no breakfast
But good location
And cost-effective
Ample parking
Safety
The store is also very clean
Warm attitude, provide local tourist information booklet
And dinner is good

I booked 5 nights from Dec 25th to Dec 30th.
Only stayed on the nights of Dec 25th and 26th, and until 7 PM on Dec 27th.
On the night of Dec 25th, there were towels, the bathrooms were clean, and the common sink had some food residue, but the environment was quiet.
On the night of Dec 26th, there were no towels, the bathrooms were clean, the common sink had a used scouring pad and rag that hadn't been put back, and the environment was noisy. Doors were slammed all night long, and lockers were opened and closed with loud bangs. There were also a man and a woman constantly talking and **doing things** inside the capsule.
On the morning of Dec 27th, I was woken up at 6 AM by the sound of doors slamming and lockers opening. When I returned at 5 PM that day, there were no towels, and the toilet paper in both bathrooms was used up and not refilled. I was continuously disturbed by the slamming doors and locker noises, so I had to find another hotel and move away from this noisy and inconsiderate crowd.
Also, the lock on the locker was broken and couldn't be closed.

Room was nice and clean. The common areas of the motel was nicely decorated with plants, trees and the ramps are nicely built to transport your luggage to your room. Would have been great if a Facewash and shower cap would have been provided with the room. But still the place was excellent value for money.
Convenient location! Self-driving tour, next to the oil station, there are supermarkets with supplies, cafes and delicious restaurants, no worries for three meals a day. After check-in, I will give you a map of the resort and teach you to find your house. There is a parking space next to the house. The kitchen in the room is fully equipped, the toilet is clean, there are two rooms, one is a double bed with electric heating, the other is two bunk beds for four people to sleep. The only biggest drawback is that there is no Wi-Fi in the house. Its Wi-Fi is only available in a location in the resort outside the house. There are also restaurants, which is not convenient. It is always booked that the house information was originally included. Then enjoy the scenery next to it. This house is very comfortable. It is recommended to stay in winter at night. If you want to go out, bring a flashlight if you need it.
The accomodation shares the same building as the pub however it wasn’t noisy at all at night. The breakfast provided in the morning was halal friendly (for the case of any Muslim visitor). Bathrooms/toilets are shared but no issues on that (only issue is on the cleanliness but they are shared after all). Great hospitality by the receptionist. A great stay after all!

The hotel environment is very clean and tidy. Although the restroom and bathroom are shared, the environment is very good. Opposite is the wow supermarket, very convenient. The restaurant on the first floor has cutlery, bread, and milk juice in the refrigerator. The hotel staff is also very friendly. In short, the experience is very good, suitable for young people to live. It is said that this hotel is 180 years old.
The kitchen utensils are complete but the cleanliness is average, and the countertops feel greasy.
The bathroom is fully equipped with a heating lamp, but the water temperature of the shower head is alternately hot and cold, and the water flow is average.
The bedroom is old, the clothes drying rack is also stuffed into the closet, and the bed has an electric heating pad.
The advantage is that it is very close to the Bruny Island Cruise departure point, so you can easily meet there in the morning.
Close to Adventure Bay, the scenery is beautiful and the sound of waves is constant, making you feel cheerful.

Very Good
It was the best hostel that I had ever had. On the whole, Everything was satisfied with my standard.
We stay in a nice little villa which was clean and tidy. Great walking distance to the beach and from our little villa is has a great little view. Loved the little birds that were in the native bottle brushes outside our front door while having breakfast. Please keep trimmed so you don’t loose that bit of view. 👌👌👌 we will be back.
The hotel is about 15–20 minutes from Salamanca Market and the Tasmanian Travel and Information Centre. The room is spacious, and everything is clean, neat, and pleasantly fragrant. Each room comes with a microwave, electric kettle, some dining wares, dishwashing liquid, and a sponge. The heater works well, though the room still felt a bit cold—possibly because it’s quite large, especially for a solo traveler like me. The male receptionist was very helpful with all my requests, from fixing my internet connection to allowing me to extend my checkout time from the standard 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
A little pub just up the hill from central Hobart, great value for money as breakfast of cereal, toast, tea, coffee & orange juice is included. Opposite a Woolworths if any essentials are needed. Limited reception hours, no big deal as I arrived at 3.00pm when reception opened. Friendly place to stay, but try and avoid room 2, right next to the toilets & bathrooms as you can hear everything going on and people don’t know how to quietly shut a door. Overall great overnight stay, would recommend.
”A good hostel offers excellent value, blending clean, comfortable facilities with a vibrant social atmosphere. Key aspects include a convenient location, friendly staff, reliable Wi-Fi, and secure storage. Positive experiences stem from well-maintained common areas and a welcoming environment that fosters traveler connections.”
